CIF - Hands-on Training Program
We are pleased to announce that Central Instrumentation Facility, Kalinga University is organizing a training program on Water Analysis
Resource Person - Dr. Preeti Pandey | Ms. Priyanka Gupta
When: - 17-March-2022
Why: To provide the students and faculty, as well as external academic institutes with proper training of high-end research instruments for their professional development.
Beneficial for:
Students of all branches
Research Scholars
Academicians
Industry Persons
Engineering Fraternity
Who should attend?
• Researchers involved in the analysis of water quality through Colorimeter, spectrophotometer, pH, turbidity meter, and FTIR.
• Academia ( UG, PG, M.Phil. students and Ph.D. scholars in Chemistry and Pharma,
What will you learn?
1. Time is money in the case of water quality. we can get notification of poor water quality to the public faster by using newer rapid molecular diagnostic, then it also means we can protect both people and the economy with more efficiency.
2. To get the information about pH as well as turbidity of water.
3. We also learn from water analysis which element is present in water such as fluoride, arsenic, and nitrates.
4. Most important according to UNICEF three more chemical parameters can monitor with the help of water analysis like TDS (total dissolved salt), naturally occurring metals iron and manganese, chlorine.
5. Application of water analysis in DO (dissolve oxygen) BOD (biological oxygen demand) and COD (chemical oxygen demand).
