Taproot College

Taproot PU College, CV Raman Nagar conducted an Inter School Science Exhibition- “NURTURE IGNITO” on 26th November 2022. Nearly 162 students from 12 different schools took part in the event which included 12 teams of static models, 31 teams of working models, and 30 teams for the quiz. “NURTURE IGNITO” was a grand success as both the participants and people who came to see the exhibition enjoyed the event.

The Cultural Committee ‘KALATHARANGA’ conducted an Inter class Cooking without Fire competition on 22/11/2022, to provide a platform for the students to foster their creativity, help them explore their hidden talents, and discover new areas of interest. Participants infused lots of creativity and served delicious eatables to enhance the taste buds.

The Cultural Committee ‘KALATHARANGA’ conducted an Inter class Mehandi competition on 09/11/2022. Around 37 students participated with enthusiasm. They created beautiful designs on different themes.

On December 6, 2022, an inter-college solo singing competition was held at Taproot PU College in Yelahanka.
Students from all Taproot colleges competed enthusiastically in this competition. Mrs Lekha, Trustee of Taproot PU College, Yelahanka, was the chief guest. Mr Munikrishna, a Janapada artist from the Yelahanka campus, and Mr Kishore, a Tabala player from the C.V.R campus, served as judges.

The CVR Branch's Sports Committee held a table tennis competition between classes on November 10 and 12, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The competition was fierce, and there was a massive participation. Our matches were organised systematically thanks to the advice and direction of Principal Mr. Sreenivasa Reddy sir.

Taproot College C V Raman Nagar hosted an Inter Class Carrom Singles and Doubles Competition for Boys and Girls. Almost 60% of the students participated in the event. All of the students had a great time playing.

Taproot College, Yelahanaka Branch celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with great pomp and show. The festivities started with flag hoisting along with singing “Nada Geete’ ,’ Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate’. In the course of the function Mr. Prakash Murthy stressed on using Kannada language.
Mr Shashidhar Kote, sang a beautiful kannada song ‘Chitradurgada Kallina Kote’. Mr. Rajesh Anekal, interacted with students with his jokes and kannada folk song and made students to join him while singing.
