The 'Sri Chakra - Kamalamba Navavaranams' presentation at the Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha on 11th October was an astounding success! We had the great honour of sharing the stage with stalwarts Mridangam Maestro Sri Arjun Kumar, Sri Ranganatha Chakravarthy and Sri B.K. Raghu. A red letter day for the students who sang (left to right) Neeraj Raja, Aniket Raja, Pratiksha B Deekshadar, Tanusri Balakrishnan, Vasundhara Ravishankar (tambura), Reethika Rajan, Anushka Murali, Manhushri Balakrishnan and Saanvi Prasanna.

Our student Vasundhara Ravishankar made it to the shortlist of candidates chosen for the Kamala T Avadhany competition 2025. For nearly 15 years or more, Natyasruti has maintained an unbroken tradition of its students participating in this prestigious competition.
Vasundhara earned a good name for herself despite not being among the prizes. Well done Vasundhara!

Our student 12 year old Advaith Arvind bagged two prizes at the Madras Music Academy competitions held on 4th and 5th Oct in Chennai. A very proud moment for Natyasruti!

Despite facing stiff competition Advaith came second in the open category (across all age groups) of the Muthuswami Diksh*thar competition and also bagged the Thambirajan prize (first) for the under 14 age group.

Our students performed at a Makkala Kutcheri at the Navarathri Utsav 2025 of the Kanchi Mutt on 1st Oct 2025. The team consisted of Neeraj Raja PV, Tanusri Balakrishnan, Pratiksha B Deekshadar, Reethika Rajan, Manhushri Balakrishnan and Aniket Raja PV accompanied by Chiranjeevi Abhirama Bhat on the violin and Chiranjeevi Abhiram Nitin on the mridangam.

Pratiksha B Deekshadar won Consolation Prize in the Vocal Junior Category Vocal at the Sri Tyagaraja Gana Sabha Trust‘s annual music competition 2025 held in Rajaji Nagar, Bangalore. Congratulations Pratiksha!

Manhushri Balakrishnan and Tanusri Balakrishnan performed at Nanganallur Chennai for Navaratri. They had the huge honour of performing with renowned Violin Vidushi Smt. Narmada Gopalakrishnan on the violin and Senior Vidwan Sri. Gopal on the mridangam.

Our students Pratiksha B Deekshadar and Meenakshi Ajay presented a Bharatanatyam recital for the senior citizens of the Vedanta Vaibhava retirement community in Aneka; Bangalore on the occasion of Navaratri. They won a lot of appreciation for their performance from the elders.

Our student Pratiksha B Deekshadar Pratiksha won the Diamond prize at the Nanganallur Thyaga Brahma Valarkalai Sangeetha Sabha competition in Chennai and bagged the opportunity to present a short solo recital on the 20th of September. Congratulations Pratiksha!
