In the race of getting upskilled it is a general tendency to notice that people blindly browse and fall into one of the various sources of upskilling. While for some it works, others leave their upskilling path mid-way. If that has happened, ask yourself where did it go wrong? The reason would be incompatibility of your learning style with the source of upskilling you chose blindly.
So why is a learning style so important? Take a situation where you have been asked to sing a song for the upcoming event in your office. When you want to learn new song lyrics, you may tend to follow any of the following ways to achieve it:
1. Dance around and play to the beat.
2. Sing along to the song audio.
3. Download the lyrics and read them.
So some learn best by listening, some have to observe every step, while others have to do it to learn it. A person needs all three mediums to actually concretize the required information to memory: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. But usually, one of these mediums is the strongest for an individual and they should work towards finding their correct learning style.
So in effect connect your learning style to the source of upskilling. A person who is identified as a prominent auditory learner can choose Podcasts to gain more knowledge.
