Something I’ve been working on quietly… 🌿🎶
Presenting a first look at Sangīta Prārambha Grantham, a beginner-friendly Carnatic music guide that is currently a work in progress.
This isn’t just another book of swaras and exercises.
The idea is to make learning Carnatic music feel simple, structured and less intimidating for today’s learners, while keeping the beauty of our traditional paddhati intact.
Whether you grew up hearing Sa Ri Ga Ma at home, watched your child begin music classes, or always had that little wish of learning Carnatic music yourself…

Because learning music should not feel like “Ithu romba kashtam… enakku puriyala!” 😄

A book born from the classroom, from conversations with students, from seeing beginners struggle with the basics, and from wanting to make the first steps into Carnatic music a little warmer and easier.
