SFS Academy celebrated Teachers’ Day ’26 with great enthusiasm and warmth under the inspiring theme “Great Teachers, Greater Future”. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers whose dedication and guidance shape the future of their students.
The celebration began with a grand procession led by the school band and flower girls, welcoming the distinguished Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Sabu Francis, Rector, Suvidya, Institute of Philosophy and Social Science, along with the Principal, Fr. Johnson and the staff to the arena.
The programme commenced with a soulful prayer song by the school choir, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the school anthem. One of the major highlights was the unveiling of Desiris, our Robot Teacher, who delighted everyone by wishing the gathering a Happy Teachers’ Day in her own voice. The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering with inspiring thoughts.
The celebration continued with a creative ramp walk portraying different teacher personalities, vibrant dance performances by the school team and a joyful cake-cutting ceremony. A lively skit humorously yet meaningfully conveyed that beyond an AI teacher, students value the love, care and human connection of their real teachers. A special dance dedicated to the teachers added to the festive spirit.
The programme concluded with an inspiring message from Fr. Johnson, who appreciated the staff for their tireless dedication and reminded everyone that teachers are the true architects of a greater future. The vote of thanks and national anthem brought the memorable celebration to a graceful close, leaving the entire SFS family with cherished moments of joy and gratitude.
