The Annual Day Celebration, the most awaited and cherished event of the Kindergarten calendar, came alive on a magical evening in January 2026 at 6:00 PM, filling the SFS football court with joy, wonder, and heartfelt emotions. The evening began with a gracious welcome to our honoured guests, setting the tone for a celebration that was as meaningful as it was memorable.
The occasion was blessed by the esteemed presence of Rev. Dr. Thomas Kalariparambil, MSFS, Provincial of the South West India Province, who presided over the function as its President. Dr. Thimappa Hegde, renowned neurosurgeon and Director of Narayana Institute of Neurosciences, graced the event as the Chief Guest. Adding further distinction were the Guests of Honour—Rev. Fr. Benny Jacob, MSFS, Director of Fashion Designing and Councillor in Charge of Education, SWIP, and Rev. Fr. Dr. Santhosh Kumar, MSFS, Councillor in Charge of Formation, SWIP—along with several dignitaries from the SFS Group of Institutions, whose presence enriched the spirit of the evening.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome followed by the prize distribution ceremony, celebrating the achievements and talents of our young learners.
A highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the kindergarten movie “The Jungle Book: The Earth Belongs to All”, presented through a working projector. A week prior to the event, the official trailer and two songs from the movie were released on YouTube and shared across social media platforms, generating eager anticipation among parents and well-wishers.
“The Jungle Book: The Earth Belongs to All” is a children’s musical fantasy inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s timeless classic, reimagined with a contemporary, value-driven message for young minds. The story follows Mowgli as he returns to the jungle accompanied by three human children—Kim, Sany, and Moly—only to discover that fire alone can no longer protect the forest. Moving seamlessly between the jungle and the human world, the film gently reflects today’s challenges of imbalance, fear, and disconnection from nature, while emphasizing empathy, unity, and the responsible use of knowledge and technology as the true path forward.
Brought vividly to life through songs, dances, and celebrations, the movie features nearly 40 main characters and the enthusiastic participation of around 470 Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG students. With a duration of 90 minutes and six soulful songs, including the title track and end-credit number, the film delivered a powerful yet tender message: the Earth is home to all, and when kindness, wisdom, and togetherness guide us, even the smallest hearts can inspire the greatest change.
