ಷಟ್ತಿಲಾ ಏಕಾದಶಿ ಮಹತ್ವ​:
ಪುರಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಷಟ್ತಿಲಾ ಏಕಾದಶಿಯಂದು ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಹುಡುಗಿಯನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ನಂತರ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪುಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ದಿನ ಎಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜೆ, ಹವನ, ಪ್ರಸಾದ, ಸ್ನಾನ, ಅಭ್ಯಂಜನ, ದಾನ, ಆಹಾರ ಮತ್ತು ತರ್ಪಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಏಕಾದಶಿ ವ್ರತದ ದಿನದಂದು ಎಳ್ಳನ್ನು ದಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಷಟ್ತಿಲಾ ಏಕಾದಶಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಷಟ್ತಿಲಾ ಏಕಾದಶಿ ಮಂತ್ರ​

1) ಓಂ ನಮೋ ಭಗವತೇ ವಾಸುದೇವಾಯ
2) ಅಚ್ಯುತಂ ಕೇಶವಂ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ದಾಮೋದರಂ
ರಾಮ ನಾರಾಯಣಂ ಜಾನಕಿ ವಲ್ಲಭಂ
3) ರಾಮ ರಾಮ ರಾಮೇತಿ
ರಮೇ ರಾಮೇ ಮನೋರಮೇ ಸಹಸ್ತ್ರನಾಮ ತತ್ತುಲ್ಯಂ ರಾಮ ನಾಮ ವರನನೇ
4) ಹರೇ ರಾಮ ಹರೇ ರಾಮ ರಾಮ ರಾಮ ಹರೇ ಹರೇ
ಹರೇ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹರೇ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹರೇ ಹರೇ.
