N2 is the level most learners never reach. Four of ours cleared it in July with 6 months of preparation.

N2 means reading a newspaper article and following a conversation at natural speed. It is roughly 1,200 kanji and around 6,000 words, and it is the level Japanese employers most often ask for.

Four students sat down with that and came out the other side. Aditi topped the level at 112.

The July 2026 JLPT results are out — and our Saachi students have done it again.

Behind every pass mark is something that never appears on the certificate: the 6 a.m. revision before work, the kanji written out until the stroke order stopped being a decision, the mock test that went badly and the quiet week of work that followed it. You didn't get lucky. You got ready.

To every student who cleared N5, N4, N3 or N2 this cycle — we are so proud of you. 🌸

From four students to a room of two hundred.
Yesterday we conducted a Corporate Interface session at CHRIST University, Kengeri — School of Business and Management, MBA.
The topic: building trust before you build a brand.
When the school Lata Naik had worked at couldn't survive the pandemic, we restarted online with four students, no office and no brand anyone recognised. Nine thousand students later, four is still the number we reflect on.
We talked about what you do when nobody has heard of you — why "expensive" is usually a trust problem wearing a price costume, what changed when our ads stopped sending people to a form and started opening a conversation, and why bad news never gets better with age.
The students messaged our WhatsApp AI live from their seats and took a ten-question quiz on Japanese business culture. The energy in that room was the best part of the afternoon.
Thank you to the Corporate Interface Committee for the invitation, and to everyone who stayed back afterwards to ask questions.
