The Department of Mechanical Engineering, K.S. School of Engineering & Management successfully organized an Industrial Visit to Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Bengaluru on 17th April 2026. Students gained hands-on exposure to automobile manufacturing, robotics, automation, lean manufacturing, and the Toyota Production System. 🔧🤖🏭

We are delighted to share that M/s. K S School of Engineering and Management has been recognized as an Institutional Member of the Fluid Power Society of India.

This certification reflects our commitment to excellence in the field of fluid power, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and strengthens our connection with industry experts and professional bodies.

This milestone opens new opportunities for our students and faculty in terms of knowledge sharing, industry exposure, and technical growth.

The 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering students recently had the opportunity to visit the prestigious Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, on 28-03-2026, a key unit of Indian Railways involved in the manufacturing of railway wheels and axles.

This industrial visit provided valuable insights into real-time manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and large-scale production systems. Students gained practical exposure to concepts such as forging, heat treatment, machining, and inspection methods—bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial applications.

Such experiences play a vital role in enhancing technical understanding and preparing students for future engineering challenges.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the officials of Rail Wheel Factory for their guidance and support throughout the visit.
