FREEDOM IN THE MIND
FAITH IN THE WORD
SPRIDE IN OUR SOULS
Independence day activity: Pre and Post Independence Era
Every year the Prime Minister of India hoists the national Pride Tri-colour flag at the Lahori Gate of Red Fort in Delhi to commemorate the Independence Day. India gained its independence from British on August 15, 1947.
To be honest it was not so easy for India to gain independence from British Raj. Thousands of freedom fighters took part In the freedom struggle and gave their blood to gain independence. The growing saplings of our school need to be nurtured in such a way that they would be deep rooted to their motherland.
To make it possible, the tender minds should have a time travel and know whatever we have now (in post independence era) is just because of the sacrifices made by the freedom lover then (in Pre Independence era). In Shri Ram Global School, OMR we tried to pass on the legacy of courage, strength and sheer guts to follow decisions made, through some visual aids.
We received an overwhelming response from the young Indians which made our effort a Success. It’s just the beginning. Many activities are yet to be out of the box. Let’s cheer for India.
Bharat Mata ki Jai !!!
LET’S SALUTE THE NATION ON THIS 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY !
