Physics comes alive when students experience it.
As part of an engaging experiential learning activity, our Grade 9 students at National Public School, JP Nagar, Bengaluru explored the principles of Newton’s Laws of Motion through a Tug of War activity.
The activity provided a practical demonstration of:
🔹 Balanced Forces – Equal forces acting in opposite directions result in zero net force.
🔹 Unbalanced Forces – When the force on one side becomes greater, the resulting net force produces acceleration.
Beyond understanding physics concepts, the activity encouraged teamwork, collaboration, coordination and learning through real-world experiences.

🌺 ADHYAPAN – SESSION 2 | Learning Through Culture, Creativity & Tradition 🙏🎨

National Public School, JP Nagar, welcomed 26 students from a nearby school for a joyful Ganesha-themed learning experience as part of Adhyapan – Session 2.

The session began with a prayer, followed by a creative Ganesha colouring activity where children explored art while connecting with Indian traditions. Our Student Council members actively engaged with the children, guiding them through the activity and making the experience interactive and enjoyable.

A special highlight of the session was the storytelling by our Student Council members, who narrated the story of Lord Ganesha and explained why he is worshipped first. The children also chanted the “Vakratunda Mahakaya” Shloka and learnt about the significance of the Ganesha Festival.

Through storytelling, art, prayer and student-led learning, Adhyapan created an experience where children could connect with culture while learning together. ✨

🌍 MODEL UNITED NATIONS 2026 | National Public School, J.P. Nagar

National Public School, J.P. Nagar hosted Model United Nations 2026 on 11 September 2026, bringing students together for an engaging day of diplomacy, discussion and global perspectives.

With the theme “Global Cooperation for Peace, Security & Sustainable Development,” the conference gave student delegates an opportunity to step into the world of international diplomacy and explore important global issues through structured committee sessions.

Across six committees, students discussed topics related to peace and security, sustainability, technology, democracy and health. They presented research-backed arguments, participated in debates, negotiated with fellow delegates and responded to challenging crisis situations that required quick thinking and practical solutions.

The experience encouraged students to develop essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, research, leadership, negotiation, collaboration and decision-making. More importantly, it helped them understand different perspectives and approach complex global challenges with responsibility and empathy.

The day began with an inspiring Inauguration Ceremony and concluded with the Awards and Valedictory Ceremony, followed by group photographs celebrating the efforts and participation of all delegates.

MUN 2026 was more than a conference—it was an opportunity for young minds to think globally, engage meaningfully and take their first steps towards responsible leadership. 🌎
