"ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਇੱਕ ਪੌਦਾ, ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਹੈ।" ਇਸੇ ਸੁਨੇਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ, ਬੰਗਾ ਨੇ ਮਿਊਂਸਿਪਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਬੰਗਾ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਜਲਾ ਰੋਡ ਸਥਿਤ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਓ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਜਨੀਸ਼ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 50 ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਹਰਿਆਵਲੀ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਲਿਆ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ MLA ਡਾ ਸੁੱਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸੁੱਖੀ ਮਿਊਂਸਿਪਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਬੰਗਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੋਨਿਕਾ ਵਾਲੀਆ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਐੱਮ.ਸੀ. ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੱਬਲ , ਲਵਲੀਨ ਸੁੰਡਾ , EO ਮਿਊਂਸਿਪਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸ਼ੀ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਸਰੀਨ , ਰਾਹੁਲ ਕਪਿਲ , ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਲਾਕ ਸੰਮਤੀ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ , ਬਲਿਹਾਰ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਪਸਥਿਤ ਹਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਆ ਭਰਿਆ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਰੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਜ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾਦਾਇਕ ਕਦਮ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਜਨੀਸ਼ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
