Awareness Program on Mission YUVA Held at Govt. ITI Bandipora

Wednesday, 17-Sep- 2025: An awareness program under Mission YUVA (Youth for Understanding, Voluntarism, and Action) was successfully conducted at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. The event aimed to educate students and staff about the objectives and benefits of Mission YUVA, a government initiative focused on channelizing the energy of youth towards constructive activities, skill development, and community service.

Officials and resource persons of ITI Bandipora and District Employement Exchange and counselling Center Bandipora highlighted various schemes under Mission YUVA, encouraging students to actively participate in nation-building and community welfare programs. The session also included interactive discussions on youth empowerment, career opportunities, and skill enhancement. The Superintendent of Govt. ITI Bandipora, along with faculty members, emphasized the role of such initiatives in shaping a responsible and self-reliant young generation.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by students to contribute positively to society through active involvement in Mission YUVA.

In view of the incessant rainfall being experienced across the valley, it is hereby informed that the institute will remain closed for trainees today on 03-09-2025 (Wednesday).
