The staff and students of Govt BHSS Mantrigam bid an emotional and dignified farewell to our Worthy Principal, Mr Masoodul Hassan Reshi on 06-12-2025 marking the conclusion of his exemplary tenure.
During his 4 years of dedicated service at HSS Mantrigam ,Worthy Principal Sir has been a beacon of wisdom, discipline, and visionary leadership. His commitment to academic excellence, moral values, and holistic development has transformed the institution and touched the lives of countless students and teachers.
The farewell programme began with a warm welcome from Mr Qazi Farhat sir ,followed by heartfelt speeches from staff members and students acknowledging his immense contribution to the school.The event was graced by Chief Guest, Ex-Principal Mr. Mohd Maqoob Bhat, who, in his address, commended the dedication, administrative acumen, and visionary leadership of Mr. Masood-ul-Hassan Reshi.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jaffar Ahmad also acknowledged the significant contributions of Mr Masoodul Hassan reshi in his native village . He praised his disciplined approach, his ability to create an inspiring academic environment, and his unwavering efforts toward the upliftment of the schools ,where he had served .
Addressing the gathering, Sr. Lecturer Mr. Mohd Iqbal Baba lauded Worthy Principal Sir’s professional integrity, administrative foresight, and his tireless efforts in strengthening the academic standards of the school. He acknowledged the Principal’s role in creating a positive and progressive educational environment.

The Vice Principal of the institution Mr Mohammad Iqbal Magray in his address, appreciated the exemplary work ethics, leadership qualities, and compassionate guidance of Mr. Masood-ul-Hassan Reshi. He noted that the Worthy Principal’s tenure will always be remembered for its systematic reforms, discipline, and holistic development initiatives.
Worthy Principal Sir, Mr. Masood-ul-Hassan Reshi, expressed profound gratitude to the teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and the School Management for their unwavering support throughout his tenure. He acknowledged the collective efforts that contributed to the progress of the institution and emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and moral values in academic life. He encouraged the students to work with sincerity and remain focused on their goals. He also conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to his colleagues for their cooperation, professionalism, and goodwill. He concluded by praying for the continued success and prosperity of GBHSS Mantrigam.

Govt BHSS Mantrigam celebrated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) with great enthusiasm on 26th November to honour the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to spread awareness about its values and guiding principles.

The celebration began with a formal assembly where students and staff participated in the reading of the Preamble. The solemn recitation reminded everyone of the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity, and reinforced our commitment to the constitutional values that shape our nation.

After the assembly, a series of meaningful activities were conducted under the able guidence of Mr Mohammad Iqbal Magray vice principal of the institution.

The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) District Bandipora today conducted an awareness programme on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2007, at HSS Mantrigam.The session aimed to educate students, teachers, and community members about the legal safeguards available for the protection of children and the importance of timely reporting of offences.
The program was attended by 60 students and staff members of the institution.

*Release of academic prospects 2025 and felicitation of newly enrolled students*

Today a grand function was held at HSS Mantrigam for release of academic prospects 2025 and falicitation of newly enrolled students.worthy chief education officer Bandipora Mr Altaf Hussain Tara graced the occasion with his presence.He was accompanied by Zonal education officer Quilmuqam Mr Abdul Rahman.The event marked by the Release of the Prospectus for the new academic session 2025 with a Felicitation Ceremony for newly enrolled students. The program was held in the school campus in the presence of staff, students, and distinguished guests.

The event began with a formal welcome address, followed by the release of the Prospectus, which highlights the institution’s vision, academic programmes, facilities, admission guidelines, and future plans. Worthy Chief education officer Bandipora Mr Altaf Hussain Tara appreciated the efforts of the institution in maintaining high standards of education and emphasized the importance of providing a nurturing environment for students.

holds Condolence Meet for Former Staff member Qazi Zahoor
A wave of sorrow swept through the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Mantrigam Friday as the staff and students gathered to pay their respects to Qazi Zahoor, our staff member who passed away on Thursday after a brief illness.
The condolence meeting, held in the school premises, witnessed the participation of students, and staff members under the guidance of Mr.Mohammad Iqbal vice Principal
Qazi Zahoor a resident of Khyar Bandipora, was remembered as a religious,pious humbled, and respectful man who left a lasting impression on everyone during his time at the institution.
Senior Master Mr.Anwar sb while addressing the gathering, shared heartfelt words:
“This loss is not just for the family of but for the entire school community and that shares deep familial and emotional connections with him. Zahoor's passing has created a void that cannot be filled. May the Almighty bless the family with strength and patience in this difficult time.”
The school organised a prayer meeting lead by Qazi Farhat teacher of GHSS Mantrigam in Qazi Zahoor's memory.
Teachers recalled his respectful behavior, academic dedication, love for Arabic language
The event concluded with prayers for the departed soul and messages of condolence and support to the bereaved family Pertinent to mention here that Qazi Zahoor was not only Hafiz Quran but was a learned scholar of Arabic language besides a renowned naatkhawan despite his disabilty.

HSS Mantrigam Students Inspired by Police Awareness Programme || Navdeep News - Sach ke Sath || ...

Today as on 29-10-2025 A special awareness programme on Career Counselling and the Role of Police in National Development was conducted at HSS Mantrigam. The programme was held under the guidance of worthy Principal sir Mr .Masoodul Hassan Reshi. The program was graced by DYSP operation wassu agarval and his team.

Purpose of the Programme

The main aim of the programme was:

1.To guide students in choosing suitable careers based on interest and ability.
2.To make students aware of the importance of the Police Force in maintaining peace and promoting national development.

Mr wassu agarval DYSP operation interacted with students and provided valuable guidance regarding various career opportunities in different fields such as:
Medical, Engineering, Arts etc.
The officer also explained that police play a vital role in:
Maintaining law and order,
Ensuring safety and security,
Preventing crimes and protecting public property,
Promoting peace and unity in society,
Assisting people during emergencies and disasters
It was emphasized that national development is not possible without peace and security, and the police are essential in ensuring a stable society.
At the end students participated actively by asking questions related Recruitment process in Police and Defence services,
Preparation strategies for competitive examinations.
Their enthusiasm made the session lively and meaningful.
Conclusion
The programme was successfully conducted with the cooperation of all staff members and enthusiastic participation from the students. It was a fruitful and educational experience for everyone.

HSS Mantrigam.
Today as on 27-10-2025 the Worthy Cluster Head Mr Masoodul Hassan Reshi along with the team paid a surprise visit to the examination centre located in viewan, far-flung area of cluster Mantrigam. During the visit, the Cluster Head conducted a detailed inspection of the examination arrangements and assessed the overall functioning of the centre. The inspection aimed to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the examination, as well as to verify the availability of required facilities for both staff and students. The Cluster Head appreciated the efforts, dedication , punctuality of the staff posted at the HS viewan.

*Cluster Level Mass Parent Teacher Meet Main Function of District Bandipora*
Government Higher Secondary School Mantrigam Bandipora organised District level Mass Parent Teacher meet today as on 09/08/2025.
During the program, hundreds of the parents attended the program.
PTMs serve as a platform for parents and teachers to discuss students' academic progress, behaviour, and social issues, as well as seek parental cooperation for the benefit of the students. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mr Shabir Ahmad Wani, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Gh.Hassan Reshi OSD with Director Shool Education, Mr. Altaf Hussain Tara CEO Bandipora, Mr.RAFIQ Ahmad Ex Dy CEO, ZEO QuilMuqam, Masoodul Hassan Reshi Principal GHSS graced the occasion as guests of honour. Mr. Mohammad Iqbal Magray Vice Principal of host school welcomed all the guests on the occasion. He aslo highlighted the achievements of the school in detail. He was followed by the culture programs presented by different affiliated schools of Mantrigam. Mr. Altaf Ahmad Tara Cheif Education officer while appreciating the Cluster Mantrigam for organising such a grand function.He delebrated on the role of parents in shaping the future of their wards. He told the audience that during this pressing time the role of parents has increased manifolds.
Gh.Hassan Reshi OSD in his speech, appreciated the local talent and informed audience that children from far flung areas of Cluster Mantrigam can compete any school of Srinagar and wished them to continue their enthusiasm in pursuing their dream. Assistant Commissioner Revenue expressed his happiness over the
program where hundreds of parents turned to attend the program with full energy. He stressed teachers to put their best in nourishing the student dreams. He firmly said teacher only can revolutionise the society by their positivity. Ex Dy CEO Mr.Rafiq Ahmad Parray elongated the role of parents in light of NEP 2020.He told the audience that children are nowadays busy with modernity however he explained their role in light of teachings of Quran.He sensitised them about their role towards the betterment of their wards.
The vote of thanks was presented by the Masoodul Hassan Reshi the Principal of the host school. He thanked all the teachers, parents and all students besides all out side guests. While thanking them he also delebrated the role of parents.
The star attraction of the program were the stalls which were keenly observed by the ACR,CEO and other dignitaries. There were different stalls like Tourism and Hospitality, Beauty and Wellness, Science innovation cells,Achievements in Sports and cultural activities besides displaying of various working Models by the institute and affiliated schools of the cluster particularly GMS Mantrigam and HS Banakoot. The guests, hundreds of the students and parents attended these stalls to see the latest innovations by the student community through these stalls. All the dignitaries were engaged with meaningful interactions with both teachers and parents. All the top officials attentively listned to their feedback, suggestions and grievances as well.
M***i Farhat Ahmad steered the program with his beautiful Kashmiri and Urdu anchoring. He was supported by two girl students of institution, Amanat and Adreefa.

A vibrant Tiranga Rally was celebrated today at HSS Mantrigam showcasing the spirit of patriotism and unity. The event witnessed the active participation of worthy Principal Mr Masood ul Hassan Reshi under whose guidance the whole event was carried out. The Rally was flagged off by Worthy principal flanked by staff and students. With the Tricolor high, participants marched together, spreading the message of national pride, harmony, and collective responsibility towards the nation. The rally served as a reminder of our shared heritage and the sacrifices that buil our great nation. The rally ended up at MS Guzerbal with the speech of Mr Mohammad Iqbal Magray Vice Principal of the Institution.
