Bandipora, June 15: Amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, the Justice and Development Front (JDF) has expressed serious concern for the safety and well-being of Kashmiri students currently studying in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Reyaz Irfani, District President of JDF Bandipora, issued an urgent notification requesting the collection and submission of verified data on individuals from various districts who are either studying or working in Iran.

“You are hereby requested to urgently collect and submit the details of all individuals from your respective districts who are currently studying or working in the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the notice stated.

The required details for each individual include:

1. Full Name

2. Father’s Name

3. Name of the Village

4. District

5. Passport Number

6. Date of Birth

7. Name of the College or Workplace

Reyaz Irfani emphasized the need for accurate and verified information, urging district coordinators and community leaders to act swiftly. “The compiled list must be submitted as soon as possible,” he stated.

“Protecting the lives of our students abroad is of utmost importance. We must act proactively before the situation worsens,” Reyaz added, calling upon the authorities to take timely action to ensure the safety of Kashmiri nationals in Iran.

The JDF has appealed to both local administrations and the Ministry of External Affairs to monitor the situation closely and make necessary arrangements for the security and potential evacuation of students if required.

Bandipora, June 12: Justice and Development Front (JDF) District President Bandipora Reyaz Irfani has expressed profound grief over the tragic Air India crash that occurred in Gujarat. In an official statement, Reyaz Irfani extended heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

"I am deeply saddened by this devastating loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the tragedy. May they find strength and comfort during this incredibly difficult time," Irfani said.

He further stated that the Justice and Development Front (JDF)stands in full solidarity with the bereaved families and shares in their sorrow. The party urged the government and authorities to extend every possible support to the victims’ families and ensure proper investigation into the incident.

The JDF leadership in Jammu and Kashmir also observed a moment of silence in memory of the lives lost in the crash.
