Students of Dr. K. B. Hedgewar Higher Secondary School have earned international recognition at the prestigious Made to Move Communities (MTMC) Challenge, organized by Otis Worldwide Corporation.
Competing on a global platform, the students showcased exceptional innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while addressing real-world mobility challenges. This year’s theme focused on “Mobility solutions to support people in times of natural disasters,” encouraging participants to design ideas that improve accessibility and safety during emergencies. The competition saw participation from several countries across the Asia Pacific region.
As a special recognition of their efforts, the school has received a grant of US $7,500 (approximately ₹7 lakh), reflecting the team’s outstanding performance and global representation.
This achievement brings pride to the institution and showcases the growing excellence of students in international STEM competitions.
