Our Civil Engineering students (3rd & 5th sem) participated in a Technical Exhibition by UltraTech Cement on 30 Nov 2025 at Gulmohar, Balurghat, themed "Good Construction Practices & Sustainable Construction".

A special highlight—our alumnus Sri Hari Roy, now Technical Executive at UltraTech, was one of the key organizers!

Gratitude to our faculty Sri Abishkar Sarkar & Sri Debjeet Gain, the UltraTech North Bengal team, and the senior management for this valuable industry–academia collaboration.

Such events empower our students with real-world exposure, sustainable mindsets, and future-ready skills.

A much-needed awareness program on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) was conducted at Hilli Government Polytechnic.

The program was held under the active supervision and gracious physical presence of the newly posted District Magistrate of Dakshin Dinajpur, Hon’ble Shri Balasubramaniam, IAS, along with:

• Shri Subrata Kumar Barman, WBCS, Sub-Divisional Officer
• Shri Chiranjit Sarkar, WBCS, Block Development Officer
• Shri Amitava Bhattacharyya, WBCS, Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Collector

Their presence added immense value to the initiative and greatly encouraged the students and faculty.

The District Magistrate and his dedicated team demonstrated their strong commitment to creating informed and responsible citizens.
We sincerely appreciate their initiative, guidance, and efforts, which enriched everyone present.
