Celebrations galore at the Annual Day
Annual day is certainly one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in any school. It is an occasion to celebrate the achievements of the school, of the students and the teachers. Nav Jeevan convent Sr.Sec.school organized annual day function on 9th April, 2022. Every member of the school including the students, teachers and staff members contributed to celebrate the occasion. Mr. Tara chand ji (Hindi Lecturer) in Government school was the chief guest. Mr.Rajkumar ji (Director of S P Modern School)Mr.Jai prakash ji(Director of New Millennium School) Mr Ram dev ji Mr.Manish ji and Adv.Mr. keshav dev ji arrived at around 10.45 a.m. The guests were given a traditional welcome by the Chairman Mr.Motiram Barheta and Principal Mr.santosh kumar pal.
The function started with the lighting of the lamp by the honorable guests and a welcome song by school children. , Director Administration welcomed the guests and explained about Nav Jeevan convent Sr.Sec.school and its activities and importance of education for children. The students put up scintillating dance performances including Bhangra, Haryanvi and Rajasthani dances.
After the performances, Mr. Tara chand was invited to say a few words. He laid emphasis on girl child education in his speech. Thereafter, toppers from all classes were awarded and appreciated for their performance.

To engage and enlighten the students, an inter-class General Knowledge Quiz Competition was organized for class 5th to 8th. All five round was conducted by Mrs. Vijaymala madam ,Miss.Savita ,Miss Rekha,Miss komal and Mrs. Usha madam wherein 5 students were selected from each section for the Final Round. The Quiz began with the introduction of each team.The rules of the inter-house quiz competition were announced. Mr. Deepak sir conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. They skilfully answered the questions asked. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go ‘Aah!’ and clap when the teams answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly. The quiz comprised of oral questions, riddles, audio and visual rounds. Through various interesting as well as challenging rounds, the knowledge of the participating students was put to test in this quiz. The participants as well as the audience thoroughly enjoyed these rounds that tested how proficient they were with the world knowledge. The quiz was a great success and children enjoyed it a lot. The evolving curious minds that emerged as winners were students of Pratap house. Everyone clapped and cheered for the ecstatic winning team.
