In the heart-warming words of Sri Aurobindo on reliance on Mother’s Grace, inspiring hope and faith: "This you should always remember, that if you go forward with full trust in the Mother, then whatever may be the circumstances and the difficulties, however long a time may be necessary, you will most certainly reach your goal — no obstacle, delay or adverse condition can mar the ultimate success."

Today on the 148th Birth Anniversary of The Divine Mother we the members of Sri Aurobindo Vidyabhawan family assembled at the Patha Mandir. The occasion began with hoisting the Mother's Flag followed by paying floral tribute at the Samadhi. Through prayer, mantra, Sri Aurobindo's Gayatri, meditation, speeches and devotional songs the day was observed in remembrance of The Divine Conscious Force.

As The Mother says:-
🍃🌷I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU. I SHALL NEVER FAIL YOU IN PROSPERITY OR ADVERSITY EVEN WHEN YOU SINK I AM WITH YOU, I SINK WITH YOU. I DO NOT STAND ON THE SHORE AND NEARLY LOOK AT YOU FROM A DISTANCE. I SINK WITH YOU I AM IN YOU FOR I AM YOU. 🍃🌷

Grandparents are the cherished roots, foundation, and guiding light of a family, offering unconditional love, wisdom, and invaluable life lessons. They are the keepers of tradition who nurture children, strengthen family bonds, and provide emotional support, acting as a bridge between generations.

On 14th February 2026, Saturday the tiny tots of Pre Primary Section celebrated a memorable Grandparents' Day dedicated to honoring the love and wisdom of our elders. The campus was beautifully decorated, and we welcomed them with red roses, Chandan tika, songs, dance performances, fun filled games and heartfelt skits. The highlight of the celebration was when the grandparents performed various cultural activities and of course, the interactive session where grandparents shared nostalgic stories, and students presented them with handmade cards, creating a warm, joyful atmosphere.
The event fostered a special bond between generations, reminding us of the invaluable role grandparents play in our lives. It was truly a heartwarming day filled with laughter, blessings, and appreciation for the guidance they provide.

07th of February, 2026 marked the 50th Anniversary of the relics installation of Sri Aurobindo at the Patha Mandir of the Balichak centre.

Relics are the living Presence of Sri Aurobindo, imbued with the light and force of his lifelong sadhana. The relics are housed in a series of boxes: gold, silver, sandalwood, teak, and rosewood—which signify the various planes of consciousness from the innermost supramental, to the outermost physical. At present the relics are present at about 52 centres throughout the country. Wherever the Relics are enshrined, there dwells a profound peace and tranquility. Therefore, the Relics are not a mere memento. Just as an atom contains an infinite power in itself so do the Relics. This is the truth behind the Relics. To always keep alive that truth and give due respect to it is what the Relics demand of us.

The devotees of Sri Aurobindo (Staff Members of Sri Aurobindo Vidyabhawan, Honourable Members of the Managing Committee, students and others) gathered and assembled at the Patha Mandir to pay homage in two phases. The morning program commenced with the hoisting of the Mother's Flag and paying floral tribute at the samadhi. Next through the prayer song, mantra, Sri Aurobindo's Gayatri, meditation, speeches by Runa Ma'am and Tamal Sir, recitation by respected Principal Sir, devotional songs sung by students and Ex Asst. Teacher Ms. Ahana Dey Maity, the day was observed. The surrounding atmosphere of the Patha Mandir was filled with a peaceful aura. Sri Shyamsundar Dey, member of the Managing Trustee recollected memoirs of this day, 50 years ago, of how and when the relics were brought to the Balichak centre and installed.

The second phase of the program was held in the evening where the devotees once more gathered and conducted the evening prayer followed by meditation, devotional songs and speeches.

As India celebrates the 77th Republic Day on Monday (January 26, 2026) with a parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, we at Sri Aurobindo Vidyabhawan also celebrated and observed the day to mark the formal adoption and enforcement of the Constitution on this very day in 1950, establishing India's sovereignty and democracy.

The unfurling of the National Flag 🇮🇳 at the Main Building Campus was followed by the National Anthem, a short speech on the significance of Republic Day by one of our students, a patriotic song and patriotic dance by the students of Pre Primary Section and another patriotic song by the students of the senior classes.

Next all the teachers paid floral tribute at the Samadhi of Sri Aurobindo at our Patha Mandir and also unfurled the National Flag at the Patha Mandir Campus.

23rd January 2026 will ever be etched in our hearts because the inauguration of our school's wall magazine coincided beautifully with Saraswati Puja, a vibrant fusion of cultural expression and devotion to the Goddess of Knowledge, as the students' creative works were unveiled alongside prayers for wisdom, fostering a rich atmosphere where art, literature, and learning converged under Maa Saraswati's blessings to inspire creativity and academic pursuits for the entire school community.

On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, our institution celebrated not just the arrival of spring but also the blossoming of student talent with the official unveiling of our wall magazine, a project embodying the very essence of this festival. The ceremony began with traditional rituals, invoking Maa Saraswati, the deity of wisdom, music, and arts, as students in traditional attire offered prayers amidst vibrant decorations of yellow flowers and rangoli. Our Annual Wall Magazine, IMPRESSION, offered a collection of students' essays, poems, and artwork themed around education and learning, served as a physical manifestation of their creative spirit, inaugurated by Respected Secratary Sir and Honourable Members of the Managing Committee, who praised the initiative as a powerful tool for expression and a reflection of the school's commitment to holistic development. This dual celebration reinforced the importance of knowledge and artistic expression, uniting the community in a shared moment of cultural pride and academic inspiration.
