Ivy geranium (Pelargonium peltatum) unfurls leaves that resemble ivy. The leaves are quite eye-catching.Pelargonium peltatum is a scrambling perennial plant with shallow or deeply five lobed, circular to heart-shaped, somewhat fleshy leaves, sometimes with a differently coloured semicircular band, that has been assigned to the cranesbill family.
The oil of the Geranium makes a good astringent and can be diluted with water and used topically to help clean the face or in abath. It also has great antiseptic properties and is said to help restore the balance to dry or oily skin and hair.
