Fakir Mohan University observed 'World Breastfeeding Week' through awareness programmes and discussions on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, along with 'Snakebite Prevention and safety awareness' at Anganwadi Centres in its adopted villages of Machhua, Mardarajpur and Makhapada.

Organised by the P.G. Department of Social Work, the initiative brought together Anganwadi workers, helpers, ASHA workers and students to promote maternal and child health and strengthen community awareness.
