The Shaktishree Empowerment Cell of the college celebrated "Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan 2026" on 08.08.2026. The program concluded with an oath-taking ceremony where students pledged to stay away from drugs.
Brothers and sisters from Brahma Kumaris Ashram, Balasore joined as resource persons and addressed the students on the importance of a drug-free youth and value-based living.

UG 1st Year Induction Programme 2026 🎓

We warmly welcomed our new students of Arts, Science & Commerce to the college family on 4th August 2026 at Golden Jubilee Hall.

The programme began with lighting of the lamp and College Anthem, followed by inspiring addresses by Principal Dr. Jhansi Jena and insightful sessions by our OICs, Bursars, and Coordinators.

Students were guided on academics, admissions, examinations, scholarships, e-learning & skill courses, library & anti-ragging, ICC & self-defense, NSS, YRC, career counselling and student support services.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, and staff for making this induction meaningful.

🎓 Career Counseling & Skill Development Program Held at KKS Women's College,Balasore

The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of Kuntala Kumari Sabat Women’s College, Balasore, successfully organized a Career Counseling Program for our students.

The session was chaired by Principal Dr. Dhanasi Jena, Chief Guest Shri Laxman Kumar Sethi, District Skill Development & Employment Officer, Balasore, guided students on career opportunities after graduation and the importance of skill development for becoming self-reliant.

Students were motivated to explore diverse career paths and build a strong foundation for their future.

We thank all faculty members who coordinated the program and made it a success.

YRC unit of this college in collaboration with Fire Station Balasore, Town Hall, organised Fire Safety Mock Drill on 03/08/2027 at 11:30 AM in college campus.
