Heartiest wishes of Children's Day from all the teachers and principal of the school and a few words for the children from *Xavier Academy* - Earlier, India used to celebrate Children's Day on 20 November along with the world. This day has been declared as World Children's Day by the United Nations. But after the death of Chacha Nehru in the year 1964, the Parliament issued a resolution to establish his birthday as the official Children's Day in the country. Since then, India celebrates his birth anniversary on 14 November as Children's Day.

8. Pandit Nehru always talked about the welfare of children, education and their rights. He used to say - 'Today's children will make tomorrow's India. The way we raise them will determine the future of the country.' Top educational institutions like AIIMS, IIT and IIM are the result of his vision.

9: Various programs are organized in schools on Children's Day. There are also competitions like speech, dance, poster making, sports and essays. Debates and seminars are also held. Prizes are also given to encourage children. Thanks my school🎒📚 family👪

Heartiest wishes of Children's Day from all the teachers and principal of the school and a few words for the children from *Xavier Academy* - The birthday of India's first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru falls on 14th November. This day is specially celebrated as 'Children's Day', because Nehru ji loved children very much and children used to call him 'Chacha Nehru'. Children's Day is India's national festival dedicated to children. Nehru also had a big contribution in the independence of the country. As the Prime Minister, he had guided the country properly. Actually, the foundation of Children's Day was laid in 1925. When the first announcement of celebrating Children's Day was made in the 'World Conference' on the welfare of children. It got recognition all over the world in 1954. Children's Day is an important day for children. On this day, school children look very happy. They go to school well-dressed. **best of all thanks my Xavier Academy *family.*
