‘Awaaz-e-Watan’ Inter-House Patriotic Solo Singing Competition Held at TS DAV Public School💫💫

To commemorate Independence Day, TS DAV Public School, Baharagora organised the ‘Awaaz-e-Watan’ Inter-House Patriotic Solo Singing Competition with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed guests, Mr Hemant Kumar Jana and Mr Manik Mohanty.

The competition was conducted in two categories—Classes III to VII and Classes VIII to XII. A total of 16 participants showcased their talent through melodious and soulful renditions of patriotic songs, expressing their love and devotion towards the nation.

In the Classes III to VII category, Samriddha Ghosh of Class VII A secured the first position. In the Classes VIII to XII category, A***n Dey emerged as the winner, delivering an impressive performance.

On the occasion, the Principal, Mr Mukesh Kumar, encouraged the students and remarked that patriotism is not merely expressed through words, but is reflected in dedication, sincerity and commitment towards one’s duties and responsibilities.

The event was successfully conducted with the valuable contribution of teachers Mr Shivshankar Dash and Mr Tapabrata Chakraborty.

The competition provided the students with a meaningful platform to nurture their patriotic spirit, confidence, musical talent and cultural expression, making the Independence Day celebrations truly memorable and inspiring.

🏆 DAV Sports Cluster Level Competition 2026–27 Successfully Hosted at TS DAV Baharagora 🏆

Tarapada Sarangi DAV Public School, Baharagora successfully organized the DAV Sports Cluster Level Competition 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, welcome song, welcome dance, hoisting of the sports flag by ChairpersonDr.( Mrs.) Bini Sarangi, and the administration of the sports oath. Principal Mr. Mukesh Kumar inspired the participants through his motivating address, emphasizing discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence.

🥇 Kabaddi (Under-17):
DAV Jhinkpani defeated DAV Bistupur by 14 points to win the Gold Medal, while DAV Bistupur secured the Silver Medal.

The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Sarangi, the first Health Minister of Jharkhand, who delivered an inspiring address on the importance of sports and true sportsmanship.

The occasion was also graced by Principal DAV Public School, Jhinkpani, Mr. Ranjit Bala (President, Binapani Pathagar), Mr. Rajat Kanti Satpathy (LMC Member), and several distinguished guests.

🧘‍♀️ International Yoga Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at TS DAV Public School, Baharagora 🧘‍♂️

Baharagora, June 21: TS DAV Public School, Baharagora celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. Based on this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," the programme witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and parents.
Participants performed various yoga asanas and pranayama exercises and learned about the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of regular yoga practice. The event highlighted the importance of adopting yoga as a way of life for maintaining good health, balance, and overall well-being.
