On 16.01.2016, on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, our teachers arranged a visit to a nearby Gurudwara for our little champs.

The purpose of the visit was to make the kids understand and appreciate the different cultural and faith systems at this very tender age.
And the occasion could not have been better.

LOHRI is one of the most cheerfully celebrated festival of Punjab and Haryana. It is celebrated with great vigor and enthusiasm on 13th of January, a day before MAKAR SANKRANTI. It spreads warmth of love and happiness among all our near and dear ones in this chilly weather.

At SRBPS, to add festive flavour to the day, our teachers came dressed in the colorful Punjabi attire. They along with students lighted bonfire and distributed popcorns and rewris on the beats of PUNJABI DHOL..

A new beginning for us.. Celebrating Christmas in a new way..

To make Christmas meaningful, we at SRBPS this day took a new initiative to distribute WARMTH and HAPPINESS to the less privileged segment of the society in the form of woolens and toys.

We wholeheartedly thank our teachers for contributing in abundance towards this noble campaign.

In today’s times, we hear a lot about child abuse and molestation. It’s high time, we start teaching young children about “Good Touch Bad Touch” to help prevent more damage. It is still a sensitive topic for parents to talk to their children, so most of them do not want to go there. The same goes for schools as well. At times, we hesitate to take up and speak on sensitive topics.

But, the fact remains that it is very important for the betterment of our young children that they know about all this and can deal with it if they ever come across a situation like this. What is good touch and bad touch?

So today at SRBPS, we had a special session with the mothers of the students of classes Nursery to 2nd on 'GOOD TOUCH & BAD TOUCH' to make them aware about the looming dangers, without causing any anxiety.

Special thanks to Ms. Rachna Sharma, Ms. Vaishali Gambhir, Ms. Shashi, Ms. Poonam Mann and Ms. Archana Jha for making this successful.

Our science model on 'Jammer Technology'..

Our model on 'Jammer Technology' presented by Khushiram and Tanish of class 10th under the noble guidance of Ms. Deepika, Ms. Meenu Makkar and Mr. Dhananjoy. The model could not secure any position, but was appreciated by one and all present there. Overall it was a valuable learning experience for the entire team.
