This is what perfectly describes the residents of our village. With a population of above 5000, Twenty Three Self Help Groups, a self funded school and energy packed inhabitants , Lahchauda is a place where people from different castes and religions live in unison with each other breaking the manacles of casteism. Motivated women and supportive men work together to run their families.
Lahchauda is proud of its dairy farmer Nandram who is running a big dairy with provision of AC for the cattle and all kinds of facilities along with supplying fresh milk to neighbouring villages. Stories like his' inspire multitude. Every person of the village works from sunrise to sunset with a firm belief running in their blood and veins:
