The 2001 Indian Parliament attack was a terrorist attack on the Parliament of India in New Delhi, India, on December 13, 2001. The perpetrators belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), two Pakistan-raised terrorist organizations. The attack led to the deaths of six Delhi Police personnel, two Parliament Security Service personnel, and a gardener a total of nine, and led to increased tensions between India and Pakistan, resulting in the 2001–02 India–Pakistan standoff. The 5 terrorists were killed outside the parliament.

November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India.
The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889. He was also known as Pandit Nehru. Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.

A day marking childhood, and to make this event a memorable one for our little ones, CPS Kathayatbara Bageshwar, celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022 in the school premises.
The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy , enthusiasm and magnificence. Celebrations began with the Morning Prayer presented by teachers for their children.
All the children were given chocolates, cakes, pens, some eatable things and some valuable gifts from their teachers.

The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
