International Day of Forests, also known as World Forestry Day is celebrated on March 21 each year. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 to raise awareness about the importance of forests and trees.
The day aims to promote the sustainable management, conservation, and development of all types of forests for the benefit of current and future generations.
World Sparrow Day is a day designated to raise awareness of the house sparrow and then other common birds to urban environments, and of threats to their populations, observed on 20 March.
International Day of Happiness focuses on highlighting the meaning of happiness in making objectives and aspirations for individuals and driving them to have a better life. In 2012 the first ever UN conference on Happiness took place and the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution which decreed that the International Day of Happiness would be observed every year on 20 March. It was celebrated for the first time in 2013.
The Government of India observes 16 March as National Vaccination Day to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work of frontline health care workers to ensure the vaccination of every child. India has made remarkable progress in scaling up routine immunization through intensified vaccination drives. The country is moving towards measles and rubella elimination through the vaccination of over 324 million children between 2017 and 2023 through MR vaccination campaigns.
The consumer movement marks 15th March with World Consumer Rights Day every year, as a means of raising global awareness about consumer rights and needs. Celebrating the day is a chance to demand that the rights of all consumers are respected and protected, and to protest against market abuses and social injustices which undermine those rights.
World Kidney Day is observed on second Thursday of March every year. This year it falls on March 14. The day aims to create awareness about the importance of healthy kidneys and how one can maintain kidney health and prevent kidney-related diseases.

Our school students also appeared in the same examination and today company handed over the medals, trophies and certificates to our Principal Sir (Mr. Umesh Gupta) for those students who had scored good marks and then the Principal Sir and their subject-teachers gave those medals, trophies and certificates to the children.

SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATED WITH POMP AND SPLENDOUR AT LIME LIGHT HIGH SCHOOL BAGDOGRA
Saraswati Puja, a festival dedicated to the goddess of knowledge and wisdom, is one of the most eagerly anticipated events in our schoolโs annual calendar. This year, the enthusiasm among students and staff was palpable as we gathered to celebrate this auspicious occasion. The arrangement of Saraswati Puja not only included traditional rituals and prayers but also a plethora of other activities that made the day truly memorable. Saraswati Puja holds great significance in our school as it emphasizes the importance of education and the pursuit of knowledge. Students consider this day an opportunity to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, who is believed to bestow wisdom, learning, and artistic talents upon her devotees.
The day begins with the traditional โAnjali,โ where teachers offer flowers and their heartfelt prayers to the goddess.
Arrangements for *Prasad and Sweets* were made in which all the parents, students and staff were cordially invited to attend this event.
This ritual sets the tone for the day, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion.
