Lime Light High School has made the entire school family proud with its outstanding performance in the prestigious Hebron Football Cup 2026 organized by Hebron School.

Our football team created history by defeating several reputed schools of the Bagdogra and Siliguri with brilliant teamwork, skill and determination. After overcoming strong opponents in the league stages, quarter-final and semi-final, our boys earned their well-deserved place in the Grand Finale.

OUR ROAD TO THE FINAL:
1st League Match: LLHS vs Royal Academy - Won 5-4
A thrilling high-scoring start. Our boys showed great fighting spirit.
Man of the Match: Om Chhetri

2nd League Match: LLHS vs Hebron English School, Bagdogra - Won 10-0
A dominant and record-breaking victory. Complete team performance.
Man of the Match: Arush Toppo

Round of 16: LLHS vs DAV - Won 2-0
A strong and disciplined win against a tough opponent.
Man of the Match: Aarush Toppo

QUARTER FINAL: LLHS vs Bani Mandir Railway High School - Won 2-0
A crucial knockout match. Our team held their nerves and sealed the semi-final spot.
Man of the Match: Mohit Singha

SEMI FINAL: LLHS vs Hebron School, New Rangia - Won 2-0
One step away from glory. Our boys played like warriors and entered the Grand Finale.
Man of the Match: Biswaraj Orwan

GRAND FINAL: LLHS vs Immanuel International Academy - 0-0 (Tie-Breaker 4-5)
The most awaited final. Against the Immanuel School, our boys defended brilliantly and held them goalless for the full time. Our defence was unbreakable.

In the tie-breaker, we lost by 5-4. It was hard luck in penalties, but our heart, our game, and our fighting spirit won the respect of every school present.

Principal, Mrs.Komal Gupta said we may not have lifted the trophy, but we won the respect of every school present. Reaching the final after defeating so many champion teams is no less than a championship in itself.

Lime Light High School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great zeal, patriotism, and discipline on 15th August 2026.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by our respected Director Sir, Mr. Umesh Gupta, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The entire campus resonated with pride and unity.

The program began with a disciplined March Past by students of all houses, reflecting coordination and team spirit. This was followed by soulful renditions of patriotic songs presented by the school choir.

The highlight of the celebration was a series of cultural performances. Students presented a vibrant group dance on patriotic songs and a thought-provoking act depicting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the journey of our nation to independence. Both performances received great appreciation for their message and energy.

The program concluded with the distribution of sweet packets to all students, spreading joy and happiness. The event successfully instilled values of patriotism and national pride in every student.
