"Rakhi is a thread that binds two souls in a bond of joy forever "

On this occasion students made attractive rakhis using different articles like silken thread, ribbon , etc.Children were also told the story behind the celebration of this festival .

Children were made familiarized with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan and about the sacred bond between a brother and sister and as to how rakhi symbolizes the sister’s love and prayers for the brother’s well-being and his life long vow to protect her.

The basic theme behind this celebration was to strengthen the bond between the siblings.
