Despite the scorching summer heat, the campus of Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya came alive with vibrant creativity and cool colours as students from Classes I to XII participated in a *Pencil-Sketch Competition* today.
The event was conducted under the guidance of *Mrs. Mithilesh Shukla*, Art Teacher. Students were given group-wise topics and showcased remarkable talent and imagination through their sketches.
*Principal Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi* visited the Music Hall , interacted with participants, and appreciated their artistic expression. He remarked that the event reflected the hope that the art and culture of our country are in safe and creative hands.
The competition not only beat the summer blues but also energized students to express their dreams on canvas.

*MY FAVORITE SCIENTIST: An Admiration to Scientific Minds*
14 May 2026, Maharaja Public School Ayodhya
Pride of the twin city, Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya_, organised a special program *‘MY FAVORITE SCIENTIST’* for the students of Classes IX–XII. The event was held in the music hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation and intellectual fervor.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the principal, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi_. Despite his hectic schedule, Mr. Dwivedi graced the occasion and listened to each participant with keen interest and encouragement.
The program was organized under the guidance of *Dev Narayan Shukla*.
One by one, students came forward and expressed their ideas and views on great scientists and their remarkable contributions to the world of science. Each presentation reflected deep thought, clarity, and admiration for scientific pioneers. The hall was adorned with informative posters of eminent scientists, which added to the academic ambiance of the event.
The participants who shared their thoughts were *Aradhya Rai, Nimisha Chaturvedi, Vaibhav Kasaudhan, Devanshi Shukla, Shipra Srivastava, Shreya Gupta, Aradhya Singh, Shreshth Sharma,* and *Deepti Yadav* All students spoke with remarkable confidence and the presence of mind.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dwivedi remarked, “Programs like these are not only informative but also instrumental in developing scientific temper and a spirit of inquiry. Such activities inspire students to think critically and contribute meaningfully to society.” He expressed his happiness and pride in witnessing the students’ enthusiasm for science.

*Long-Awaited CBSE Class 12th Results Declared*
*Ayodhya, May 13, 2026.* Today, the CBSE board declared its Class 12th results. As soon as the results were declared, excitement rippled through every corner of Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya. Anxious eyes remained fixed on computer screens, hearts pounding uncontrollably.
After seeing the results, teachers, management, and students jumped with joy. The school achieved a *100% pass result*. Toppers Shatakshi Srivastava, Mudita Tiwari, Prakhar Srivastava, R**t Singh, Anubhavi Tripathi, and Aditya Tripathi made the school and their parents proud by keeping the flag of excellence flying high.
Just after the declaration, the weather turned abruptly, posing a tough challenge for students living in different parts of the city and neighboring districts. Due to this, many students could not reach the school to celebrate.
The Principal, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi congratulated the students for their remarkable performance and credited teachers and parents for their constant support. All the teachers of the school expressed their heartfelt joy on this occasion.
*In a landmark move this year, CBSE also launched the _On Screen Marking(OSM)_ for Class 12th students for the first time, offering fair and error free marking for the students.

*English Extempore: A Call to the Presence of Mind*
*11 May 2026, Ayodhya*
*Pride of the twin city, Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya*, organised an *English Extempore Competition* for the students of Classes IX–XII. The event was held in the Music Hall of MPS and witnessed enthusiastic participation and intellectual fervor.
The program commenced with a floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati by the *Principal, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi*. Despite his hectic schedule, Mr. Dwivedi graced the occasion and listened to each participant with keen interest and encouragement.
The event was compered by Vaishnavi Chaturvedi and Manya Mishra, whose vibrant anchoring filled the hall with energy and set the tone for the competition.
From Class XII Science, Arya Srivastava and Riddhi Srivastava*were the opening speakers. One by one, participants came forward, picked chits from the bowl, and spoke eloquently on the given topics. Each time a student stepped up to pick a topic, a wave of excitement rippled through the audience. All participants poured out their thoughts with remarkable clarity, confidence, and presence of mind.
The panel of judges comprised Mrs. Shikha Mishra, Mr. Anupam Kumar Maurya, and Principal Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi. The judges appreciated the originality, content, and articulation of every speaker.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dwivedi remarked, “Extempore competitions in different languages help speakers transform their thoughts into words. Such activities are not only thought-provoking but also instrumental in building self-confidence and sharpening the presence of mind.” He expressed his happiness and pride in listening to the students speak so articulately and fearlessly. Event In-charge Reena Mishra expressed her gratitude for the judges and appreciated the efforts of the students.

*Card-Making Workshop at MPS*
*22nd April 2026, Ayodhya.* The month of April began with a warm-up activity — a Birthday Card-Making Workshop — at Maharaja Public School. The event started with the lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the head of the school, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi. Mrs. Arti Srivastava was the event in charge.
In the Music Hall of the school, students of Classes I to IX showcased their art and craft talent and amazed everyone with their creativity. The cards made by these little hands were very impressive. Principal Mr. Dwivedi appreciated the creativity of the students and said that today’s students are multi-talented, and such events provide them with exposure to bring out their hidden talents.
The event was successful, as students were excited and overwhelmed to receive appreciation for their creative imagination.

*Session Begins with Parental Talk*
*April 15, 2026 | Ayodhya*
The new academic session began at Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya, on April 6. On April 15, the school organized a _Parental Talk_ under the supervision of Rishabh Pandey, recognizing the significant role of parents in a child's development.
The event began with great enthusiasm. Parents and teachers shared their views on how parents can make their roles more impactful in their children's lives. On this occasion, the principal, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi also addressed the gathering and shared his valuable insights.
He noted that today’s generation is very different from any previous generation. Children are now highly sensitive, and peer pressure, along with various career-related societal pressures, sometimes leaves them feeling hopeless or depressed. He emphasized that in today’s world, parents must be cautious and friendly while dealing with their children. He added that it is the collective responsibility of all of us to provide a safe and better world for them.
The event was a success, and the guests mentioned that such thought-sharing sessions are very helpful for learning how to handle children with a sincere and supportive approach.
The event concluded with a commitment to organize such meetings regularly.

Session ended with Report Day Celebrations
28 March 2026, Ayodhya. The glory of the city, situated in the heart of it, Maharaja Public School celebrated its Annual Report Day today with great joy and enthusiasm. On this day, in five different categories students received medals and awards. The celebration began at 9:30 AM, with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Principal of the school, Mr Ajit Kumar Dwivedi, distributed awards, certificates, and medals to the awardees. While addressing the parents and students, he emphasized that the students won the medals because they got better environment and parental support, and they followed a strict and disciplined lifestyle. Though teachers put their best efforts to bring out the best hidden in each student, when their efforts meet with parents' support, it removes the conflicts and doubts from students' mind, and helps them to gain knowledge and confidence.
As on every PTM, MPS showcases the talent of the students through any exhibition, today the corridor near the Music Hall was turned into a beautiful display of Art and Crafts, as today it was Arts and Crafts Exhibition. Event In-charge Mrs Mithilesh Shukla skillfully utilized the craft work of the students to decorate the corridor. All the teachers of the school made their efforts to make the event successful. Principal Mr Dwivedi visited the exhibition along with the teachers and asked about the art and craft work displayed there. He took special interest in masks and different types of paintings and was eager to know the specific qualities of art and crafts belonging to different states of the country.
The day ended up with a hope to start the new session with some new creative ideas and much energy.

*Quizzes are Brain Boosters*
January 28, 2026, Ayodhya. Today, students from classes 6th-10th at Maharaja Public School, Ayodhya, participated in the Inter House Social Science Quiz. The event, held in the AV room, was organized under the guidance of Mr. Rakesh Mishra. Mr. R. P. Tiwari occupied the Chief Guest's chair, and the program was anchored by Kirti Singh of class 11th Science. The Chief Guest was impressed by the level of questions asked. Spectators appreciated the students' efforts and responses. Addressing the students, Mr. R.P. Tiwari said quizzes are excellent brain teasers, providing a platform to acquire knowledge engagingly, making it easier to retain. The program concluded with the hopes of providing students with even more opportunities in the future.

*Republic Day Celebrations*
January 26, 2026, Ayodhya. The nation is celebrating its 77th Republic Day today. With overwhelming emotions of patriotism, the city's pride, Maharaja Public School, also participated in this celebration to commemorate a day dedicated to the duties and rights of citizens.
The program began with the unfurling of the nation's symbol of integrity by the principal of the school, followed by the national anthem and national song. The march-past by the students of all four houses filled the hearts of the spectators with pride and enthusiasm. A series of colorful cultural programs performed by the students were hugely appreciated by the parents.
The program was anchored by Vaishnavi and Arya of class 11th. Event In-charge Anil Kumar Sharma took great care while preparing for the program. In his address to the audience, Principal Mr. Dwivedi said that no country can run smoothly until the citizens of the nation understand their duties and are aware of their rights. This is the celebration of getting our own constitution as a republic country.
The program ended with a formal meeting where Mr. Dwivedi asked questions about the constitution and its contents from the teachers. He also congratulated his team for their efforts to make the national festival a huge success.

*Festivals Bring Unity*

Nature has worn a yellow cloak, and winter is leaving its footprints behind. The steps of upcoming festivals have filled the environment with warmth and joy. Today, India is celebrating two different birthdays with love, devotion, and enthusiasm. Basant Panchami is marked as the birthday of Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, wisdom, art, and music, who has her place in every heart, especially in the field of education. To honor her and to welcome the spring season, Indians celebrate this day with joy in a traditional way. Today, on 23rd January, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, who played a significant role in India's independence, has his birthday.
In Maharaja Public School, it is being celebrated following traditions. Saraswati Pooja was organized on the campus where teachers and students, along with the principal of the school, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi attended the event, and in a sacred environment, they offered their devotion to Ma Saraswati. They all showed their gratitude and respect to Netaji. The event was organized in the Music Hall of the school. Around 11:30 am, the priests arrived there. Principal Mr. Dwivedi sat near the idol of Goddess Saraswati with the priests and attended the puja ceremony. All the teachers were also present there to be a part of this pious occasion. After pujan, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi offered a garland to the photo of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Students of different classes came with their teachers to get prasad. The celebration was marked as a symbol of peace, devotion, humanity, and tradition, where the yellow colors of the teachers spread the vibrant spring glow in the environment.
Principal Mr. Dwivedi said that all these festivals and events make our life vibrant, removing the boredom of our lives. He added that the new generation should know more about our freedom fighters, and they should follow the footprints of leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose. The celebration ended with bhajans sung by the teachers of the school.

*Sports Exhibition spread warmth in the foggy winter*
17th January, 2026, Ayodhya. The renowned school of the city, Maharaja Public School, had its PTM. On this day, the sports teacher, Mr. J.P. Sharma organized a sports exhibition. This exhibition was showcased in the Exhibition Gallery of the school.
In the morning, after the morning assembly, all the teachers were busy decorating their classrooms for parents, and Mr. J.P. Sharma, along with his team, including Miss Vandana Kumari and Mr. Rakesh Mishra was giving the final touch to the exhibition.
After that, the principal of the school, Mr. Ajit Kumar Dwivedi inaugurated the exhibition and visited each and every article displayed there.
Although the weather was foggy, the energy level of the teachers was high. With a team spirit, the school staff welcomed the parents. The parents were there to get the progress report of their children, but they knew that there would be a special event or attraction for them, as for this session, Principal Mr. Dwivedi had wisely planned different kinds of exhibitions on every PTM.
The exhibition was greatly admired by the visitors. They took a deep interest in knowing the rules and other details of different traditional, indoor, and outdoor games and sports.
Principal Mr. Dwivedi congratulated Mr. J.P. Sharma and his team for their tireless efforts to make this event memorable and exciting for all. He expressed hope that in the future, students will get much inspiration from their teachers and make the school the best in the nearby districts.
