Its pretty simple but we made it very complex. Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one. The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives. Its about creating self learners. No exam or mark sheet can decide success of an individual. A lot of people with successful careers have failed or performed poorly in exams. Exams can usually be retaken and failing in an exam can always be used to inspire greater effort and determination in the future. Education today is monumentally ineffective because nowadays we are giving young people directly cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants! Please don't burden your children if he or she gets poor marks or even we should not impose a new burden of expectations if he secures good marks. Instead we should find out a way to work with them in tandem and understand they are just kids.
