The institute is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). All degrees are awarded by the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University. The institute is situated in the heart of the city in the Osmanpura area sprawling over a campus of 30 acres with magnificent ashlars masonry buildings housing various Departments, Laboratories, Workshop and Hostels. The main building houses the Mechanical, Electrical Engineering , Applied Science and Engineering Mathematics departments while the New building houses the departments of Computer Science & Engineering and the Electronics and Telecommunications. A separate Annex building houses the department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics.
