MIDDLE SCHOOLERS SPAR IN SPIRITED INTRA-SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION
​CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: The auditorium of Royal Oaks World School recently transformed into a battleground of intellect and eloquence as the institution hosted its annual Intra-School Debate Competition. The event saw the sharpest young minds from Classes 6, 7, and 8 take the stage, showcasing exceptional public speaking skills, analytical depth, and fierce confidence.
​The competition was divided by grade levels, with each facing off on highly compelling, contemporary topics:
​Class 6: Technology has improved students' learning
​Class 7: Democracy is the best form of government
​Class 8: Plastic should be completely banned
​From the youngest participants in Class 6 delivering nuanced points on digital literacy, to the senior-most middle schoolers in Class 8 engaging in fiery rebuttals regarding environmental policies, every debater brought their A-game to the podium.
​The judges commended the participants not just for their powerful presentation of facts, but for their ability to think on their feet during the rebuttal rounds.
​Speaking on the success of the event, the school administration expressed immense pride in the students. "Our middle schoolers have fostered a beautiful spirit of healthy competition and deep critical thinking today. It is truly heartening to see these young leaders voice their perspectives so articulately," a school representative noted.
​The event concluded with the felicitation of the best speakers and rebuttlers, leaving the audience inspired by the high caliber of discourse.

Annual Day Celebration at Royal Oaks World School

Royal Oaks World School celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and splendour on 13 December 2025, marking a memorable occasion filled with cultural vibrancy and collective pride. The programme commenced with the arrival and warm welcome of the Chief Guest Ms Nirmala Rakh ,PSI followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and prosperity. Highlights of the event included the Annual Report presentation, a melodious school song by the choir, energetic dance performances, a captivating themed presentation on Frozen, and an impressive grand finale showcasing students from Classes 3 to 10. The event was further enriched by inspiring addresses from the Chief Guest and the Principal, appreciating the students’ achievements and the dedicated efforts of the staff. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by the Director of the School, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, parents, teachers, students, and support staff, followed by the National Anthem, making the Annual Day a grand success for the entire Royal Oaks World School community.
