CBSE TEACHERS' TRAINING ORGANISED AT SHAMIT SCHOOL

It was a proud moment for Shamit School as the CBSE board has chosen their school to conduct teachers’ training on Financial Literacy & Digital tools which was held on 16th February, 2024 Even teachers of various CBSE schools attended the session with great fever and enthusiasm. The resource person for the training was CA Komal Rathi, she covered all the aspects of the topic. She even briefed the teachers to manage the same with the help of digital tools. Thus the training was of a great boon to the teachers who attended it.

The session commenced with a brief introduction and welcoming of the resource person, CA Komal Rathi. Which was later followed by a main stream of the training. After the training; an interactive session was conducted wherein the teachers cleared their doubts on various sources such as capital budgeting, risk management, liquidity and cash flow. The esteemed Principal Ms. Kiran Chavan gave away her views on the session. Thus the session concluded with the vote of thanks.

SHAMIT SCHOOL ANNUAL FIESTA

Shamit School organized it’s annual day program on 2nd February 2024 with the theme - ‘A Mosaic of Heritage – Ateeth Ki Goonj ‘ in the school premises
The celebration was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Mr. Masood Khan, ACP- Special Branch along with the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Poonam Kaur Bindra, Entrepreneur, Influencer & Chef, Chairman Mrs. Mamta Runwal, School Trustees and SMC members. The event was officially opened with the dignitaries lighting the auspicious lamp. Later the honourable Principal, Ms Kiran Chavan presented the School Report which followed the proficiency of the accomplishment of the academic year 2023-24.
The day marked a special occasion as we paid tribute to the incredible journey of our nation, India, with the theme ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’ . We embarked on this journey by paying homage to the ancient Indus Valley Civilization, where the roots of our glorious nation took shape. Followed to which were glimpses from each and every era of significant rulers like Arya, Mauryans, Mughals, Rajputs, India’s struggle for freedom and present situation of India. The entire faculty, administration, as well as the student organizing committee, decked out the campus with colourful lights.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Shamit the Awe-Inspiring school witnessed the marking of its 75th Republic Day, the 26th January, 2024. Students, Staff and Faculty members filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication gathered in the school premises. The celebration started with the hoisting of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem which was further followed by the march past and the singing of the patriotic song further the speeches by the Shamitians which highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. The program ended with the message to create a great nation through collective efforts from all individual.

Memorable Christmas at Shamit School

Christmas is a time of joy and celebration, and a better way to spread the festive cheer with songs, dances, skits, and mime acts.
The celebration began with a lively Christmas song performed by Shamit choir group. The merriment spread with vibrant and energetic Christmas dance. The moves depicted the joy and excitement of the season, incorporating elements like sleigh bells, Santa hats, reindeers and snowman which was followed by a short skit that highlighted the story of Christmas and thus spread the joy of giving and sharing with everyone through a class party among the students.

Festive Spirit Unleashed: A Memorable Christmas Celebration at Shamit School.

Christmas, the season of joy and giving, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and merriment at Shamit School. The Pre-Primary mentors, and students came together to create a festive ambiance and organize a range of exciting activities.
The stage was transformed into a winter wonderland, exuding warmth and cheer. Festive wreaths and Christmas trees added an extra touch of holiday spirit, setting the perfect backdrop for the day's celebrations.Mentors staged the birth of Jesus, son of God which continued with the merriment of dance and songs by our tiny Shamitians and thus spread the joy and and excitement everywhere with their delightful performances.

Introducing Football as a Curriculum Component
Physical education in schools plays a crucial role in promoting students' overall growth and wellbeing. Including football as part of the curriculum offers a myriad of benefits, not only focusing on physical fitness but also fostering social skills, teamwork, and leadership. To inculcate a sense of awareness and also give them an exposure to the competitive world of sports, the esteemed Shamit institution has introduced a well designed football curriculum which will serve as a boon to all the Shamitians.
