The first 6 years of a child’s life is a unique period, during which the child develops an estimated two thirds of their ultimate intellectual ability. He/she also develops the core of their personality, as well as their social and emotional disposition. Our curriculum takes this into account and offers a stimulating, thought provoking and age appropriate curriculum for each grade. A Chinese proverb quotes, “Tell me and I’ll forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I’ll understand.” The great psychologist and educationist Rabindranath Tagore believed that the great task of our educational effort in institutions should be to provide for the education of the mind and all the senses through various activities. At Sapling Primary School we impart education through various activities to bring about holistic education.
