२७ फेब्रुवारी २०२६ रोजी वोखार्ड ग्लोबल स्कूलमध्ये ‘मराठी दिवस’ अत्यंत दिमाखदार व उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरणात साजरा करण्यात आला. मराठी भाषा, साहित्य आणि संस्कृतीचा गौरव करणारा हा दिवस थोर कवी व ज्ञानपीठ पुरस्कार विजेते साहित्यिक कुसुमाग्रज (वि. वा. शिरवाडकर) यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त दरवर्षी साजरा केला जातो.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात विद्या व ज्ञानाची देवता सरस्वती यांच्या पूजनाने व दीपप्रज्वलनाने झाली. मंगलमय वातावरणात विद्यार्थ्यांनी सादर केलेली मराठी प्रार्थना सभागृहात पवित्रता व एकात्मतेची भावना निर्माण करणारी ठरली. त्यानंतर सादर करण्यात आलेल्या महाराष्ट्र गीताने राज्याच्या वैभवशाली इतिहासाची, शौर्यपरंपरेची आणि सांस्कृतिक समृद्धीची प्रभावी उजळणी घडवली.
इयत्ता पहिलीच्या चिमुकल्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी ‘सांग सांग भोलानाथ’ या कवितेच्या सादरीकरणातून निरागस बालमनातील श्रद्धा, कुतूहल आणि भावविश्वाचे हृदयस्पर्शी दर्शन घडवले. इयत्ता पाचवी, सहावी आणि आठवीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी मराठी भाषेच्या जतन व संवर्धनाचा संदेश देणारे प्रभावी पथनाट्य सादर केले. संवादातील ताकद, विषयातील गांभीर्य आणि अभिनयातील सहजता यामुळे हे सादरीकरण विशेष ठरले.
मराठी भाषेचा समृद्ध इतिहास, तिची साहित्यपरंपरा आणि आधुनिक काळातील महत्त्व याविषयी विद्यार्थ्यांनी ओजस्वी भाषणे केली. इयत्ता चौथीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी ‘उत्तुंग भरारी’ या गाण्यावर एक नृत्य सादर करून स्वप्न, जिद्द आणि यशाची प्रेरणादायी कहाणी साकारली. ‘पाणी अडवा’ या विषयावर सादर करण्यात आलेल्या भारुडातून जलसंवर्धनाचा प्रभावी संदेश देत सामाजिक बांधिलकीची जाणीव प्रकट करण्यात आली.
कार्यक्रमाच्या समारोप प्रसंगी मुख्याध्यापकांनी आपल्या मनोगतातून मराठी भाषेची अभिजात परंपरा, तिची अभिव्यक्तीशक्ती आणि आधुनिक युगातील उपयुक्तता यांवर प्रकाश टाकला. विद्यार्थ्यांनी आपल्या मातृभाषेचा अभिमान बाळगून तिच्या जतन-संवर्धनासाठी कटिबद्ध राहावे, असे प्रेरणादायी आवाहन त्यांनी केले.
उत्साह, अभिमान आणि सांस्कृतिक एकात्मतेच्या वातावरणात ‘मराठी दिवस’ हा कार्यक्रम पार पडला.आभार प्रदर्शनाने या दिमाखदार कार्यक्रमाची सांगता झाली.

Checkmate 4.0: Young Minds Checkmate Their Way to Glory
Wockhardt Global School, Shendra, in collaboration with the Aurangabad District Chess Association, proudly hosted the electrifying Checkmate 4.0 Inter-School Chess Competition! From the first move to the final checkmate, young chess prodigies showcased incredible focus, strategy, and sportsmanship. Each game was a thrilling contest of skill, patience, and tactical brilliance! Under the expert guidance of Chief Arbiter Mr. Vilas Rajput, the tournament became a battlefield of minds, where future grandmasters made their mark. The winners were felicitated by the school Principal, Mr. Abhijit Dive, along with Chief Arbiter Mr. Vilas Rajput.

WGS Students Explore the World of Aviation Through Experiential Learning Tour
On Tuesday, 10 February 2026, Wockhardt Global School, Shendra successfully organized an Experiential Learning Tour for students of Grades 1 to 4 to the Institute of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (IAME), CSN, as part of its commitment to holistic and activity-based education.
The educational visit was conducted during school hours, with students leaving the school premises at 9:30 a.m. after breakfast. The students were accompanied by their teachers, who ensured proper guidance, safety, and discipline throughout the visit. Dressed smartly in their complete school uniform (white and grey), the young learners were well-prepared with caps, water bottles, and dry snacks, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
The visit provided students with a first-hand exposure to the fascinating world of aviation. They were introduced to the basics of aircraft structure, maintenance procedures, and the importance of safety in aviation. The experts at the institute conducted an interactive session, where students enthusiastically asked questions and observed real-life aircraft components.
The children displayed great curiosity and excitement, making the session lively and engaging. The hands-on experience helped them connect classroom learning with real-world applications, thereby deepening their understanding and interest in science and technology.
The field trip concluded successfully, leaving students enriched with new knowledge and unforgettable memories. Such experiential learning initiatives by WGS continue to nurture inquisitive minds and inspire young learners to explore beyond textbooks.

Wockhardt Global School Celebrates Republic Day with Pride and Patriotism.
On 26th January 2026, Wockhardt Global School marked India’s 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour through a series of inspiring performances that reflected the spirit of unity, courage and national pride.
The programme began with an impressive drill performance by Grade 4 students, set to the stirring song “Ae Watan, Aabad Rahe Tu.” Their perfect coordination, discipline and confident formations symbolised the strength, harmony and resilience of a proud nation.
This was followed by a melodious choir performance by students of Grades 5 to 8, who sang the patriotic song “Jahan Daal-Daal Par Chidiya.” Their harmonious voices beautifully conveyed India’s unity in diversity and deep love for the motherland.
The occasion was further enriched by an inspiring address by Principal Mr. Abhijit Dive, who encouraged students to uphold constitutional values, respect the freedom earned by our forefathers and grow into responsible citizens of the country.
Next, students of Grades 5, 6 and 7 presented a dynamic dance performance, whose energetic movements and expressive choreography paid tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of India’s heroes, leaving the audience deeply moved.
The celebration concluded on a cheerful note with refreshments served to all, allowing students and staff to share the joy of the day together. The Republic Day programme left everyone filled with pride, gratitude and hope for India’s bright future.

A Visit to the Fire Station – A Day of Courage and Curiosity
Students of Grades 1 and 2 from Wockhardt Global School went on an exciting and educational field trip to the Fire Station Department, Shendra, on 20th January 2026. The young learners were warmly welcomed by the brave firefighters, who introduced them to their important role in saving lives and protecting property.
The children were fascinated to see the fire engines, ladders, helmets, hoses, and special safety uniforms. A live demonstration showed how firefighters quickly respond during emergencies. The loud sirens and flashing lights filled the students with excitement and wonder.
The officers also taught the children important fire safety rules, such as staying calm, not playing with fire, and calling emergency services when needed. The trip helped students understand the values of courage, teamwork, and service. It was a memorable day of learning beyond the classroom.

CBSE Teachers’ Training Programme on Assessment Practices at Wockhardt Global School
Wockhardt Global School, Shendra, organised a two-day CBSE Teachers’ Training Programme on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices” on 20th and 21st December 2025, with active participation from teachers of Wockhardt Global School, Brilliant Kids School, Podar International School, and other institutions.
Aligned with NEP 2020, the programme focused on competency-based assessment, formative evaluation, and learner-centric practices to support holistic student development.
Day 1 featured Mr. Ravinder Rana, CBSE Resource Person and Principal, Podar International School, who shared practical strategies on assessment design and evaluation.
Day 2 was led by Dr. Sharda Gupta, CBSE - appointed trainer, who discussed assessment reforms, inclusive practices, and student well-being.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving participants motivated to implement effective and meaningful assessment practices in their classrooms.
