Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Mazhar Ahemad Farooqui, Botany Department celebrated under the supervision of Botany HoD Prof. Rafiuddin Naser, today 23rd April as a "World Book and Copyright Day " to promote the enjoyment of books and reading. Each year, on 23 April, celebrations take place all over the world to recognize the scope of books - a link between the past and the future, a bridge between generations and across cultures. Students enjoyed book readings in the library on this occasion Dr. Ashfaque Khan, Dr. Harshdeep Sartape, Dr. Uzma Quadri and many Botany students present.

Dr. Vyankatesh Lamb, a management council member of BAMU, and Dr. Kamble, a Botany Professor at Balbhim College Beed, graced the Earth Day 2024 event by planting trees and setting up water pots for birds. Mr Rizwan Lecturer in Physics MAC donated trees & pots

Under the guidance of Hon.Principal Dr. Mazahar Ahmad Farooqui, 6 Students of BCS-III Year have been selected for IT skill development scholarship programme, 2024 in "Full Stack Academy", Hyderabad . The scholarship examination was conducted in online format, all over India for selecting 100 students. Selected students will get 3 months training programme (food and accommodation included). After successful completion, 100% placement will be provided by the academy. The HOD Mr Syed Abeduddin, provided technical support and guidance to the students. IQAC Cordinator Dr Aditi Bhattacharya, Dr Arif Pathan, congratulated the students and staff for their efforts.

Voters awareness drive conducted in college campus jointly organised by the department of Political Science & ELC.

Under the Guidance of Principal Dr. Mazahar Ahmad Farooqui World Water Day was celebrated. Students of B. Sc. through placards showcased and made awareness for the water conservation. This activity was performed under the Eco-Consciousness committee of the college jointly with MAC Green Club under the aegis of Maharashtra Youth For Climate Action. (MYCA)

Department of Zoology & Salim Ali Club Maulana Azad College of Arts, Science and Commerce Aurangabad celebrated World's Sparrow day ( 20 March 2024) in collaboration with Environmental Research Foundation and Education Academy (ERFEA) The aim of this day is to promote awareness about the conservation and protection of sparrow,whose number falling globally.
Dr. Dilip Yardi (Ornithologist) and Mr. Kunal Vibhandik and Prof.V.R.More; delivered lecture on Various aspects of Conservation of House sparrow. Principal, Dr. Mazahar Ahmed Farooqui sir delivered the presidential address.Dr J.D Shaikh gave the program highlights, Dr Tarannum Shaikh conducted the program, Dr. Heena kausar proposed vote of thank.
Inauguration of "Parrot Corner" was done with the hands of Principal Dr. Mazhar Ahmed Farooqui, Dr. Dilip Yardi, and Mr. Kunal Vibhandik. Dr.Syed Atheruddin Quadri, Dr. Ashfaque khan and Amreen Khan were present. Dr Dilip Yardi appreciated the work of Salim Ali club volunteers and Department of Zoology and they offered momento and appreciation certificates to 25 student of B.Sc 1st 2nd and 3rd year.Mr. Sandip Kulkarni & Mr.Sandip Bhale( Exotherm Chemtest Pvt.Ltd.) donated eight nest.
