🌟 A Moment of Pride for MIT-CSN! | Celebrating Student Innovation & Entrepreneurship 🚀

At MIT Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, we believe that education goes beyond classrooms—it is about empowering students to create, innovate, solve real-world problems, and build the future.

It was a proud moment for the entire Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar community as Aniket Chikse, a third-year Computer Science and Design student from the Department of Emerging Science and Technology, was felicitated by our Director General, Prof. Munish Sharma, in recognition of his remarkable achievements and inspiring entrepreneurial journey.

Aniket is the founder of VoiceGuardAI, an AI-powered startup working in the areas of deepfake detection and digital identity verification—addressing some of the emerging challenges associated with AI-generated content, digital fraud, and identity security.

His entrepreneurial journey has already achieved several notable milestones:

🔹 VoiceGuardAI is incubated and supported by IIT Madras and has received a ₹5 lakh startup grant for product development and growth.
🔹 Aniket secured 2nd Runner-Up at the GSEA competition, receiving a ₹40,000 prize for his entrepreneurial work.
🔹 VoiceGuardAI has been selected for prominent startup ecosystems and programs including Sarvam AI Startup Program, Google for Startups, and Amazon Startup Program.
🔹 Aniket was also personally invited by OpenAI for an in-person startup support opportunity, giving him an opportunity to engage with the broader global AI startup ecosystem.

For us at MIT-CSN, this is much more than an individual achievement. It is a reflection of what can happen when students are encouraged to think differently, pursue their ideas, and transform knowledge into meaningful innovation.

On the special occasion of the birthday of our revered President, Shri. Y. A. Kawade Sir, the MIT CSN family walked the path of selfless service he has shown us for decades.

To honour his vision and lifelong dedication to society, a Blood Donation Camp was organized on campus, seeing enthusiastic participation from students and staff alike.

As part of the Experiential Learning Programme (ELP), the final year students of our MIT College of Food Technology, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, have successfully developed two innovative and value-added food products i.e. Date-Cocoa Confection and Moringa Soup Premix.

Date-Cocoa Confection is a nutritious and delicious confectionery product made using naturally sweet dates, offering a healthier alternative to conventional chocolates. Moringa Soup Premix is a convenient, nutrient-rich instant soup formulation prepared with the goodness of moringa, promoting health and wellness through functional foods.

These ELP products reflect the student’s creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and hands-on learning, transforming classroom knowledge into market oriented food innovations. The initiative reflects MITCFT's commitment to experiential learning, innovation, and preparing future food technologists to meet the evolving needs of the food industry.
