The region had been under the clutches of Nizam in the Hyderabad state till 1948. The institute was founded by Mr. Vinayakrao Patil who were assisted by a team of dedicated social workers. The institute founded Deogiri College with the objective to provide higher education to rural masses. The foundation of this college was a noble attempt towards the search of identity.
