A new video attributed to Ruchika Singh is circulating online following the controversy surrounding her remarks during a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
In the latest video, she reportedly speaks about the difficulties she says followed the controversy, describing a life marked by restrictions, fear and pressure. She also claims that the backlash affected her personal freedom and everyday life, while indicating that she does not intend to step away from the matter.
Earlier reports said a Zero FIR was registered following a complaint over her remarks, while her family had sought protection and alleged that they were facing threats. The complainant later withdrew the complaint after Ruchika's apology and an appeal by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for forgiveness.
The authenticity and complete context of the latest video could not be independently verified. The statements made in the video should therefore be treated as claims attributed to Ruchika Singh, rather than independently established facts.
