On 23 August 2026, the enthusiastic Star Students of Class VI participated in an engaging, hands-on Kaushal Bodh activity focused on preparing a People’s Biodiversity Register (PBR).

As part of the vocational and skill-enhancement initiative Kaushal Bodh, the activity provided students with an opportunity to explore and document the rich biodiversity around them. Through observation, identification, and documentation of local flora and fauna, students developed essential skills such as careful observation, data collection, teamwork, and critical thinking.

The activity not only connected the young learners with their natural surroundings but also helped them understand the importance of biodiversity conservation and sustainable living. It encouraged students to appreciate nature, recognise the ecological wealth in their neighbourhood, and develop a deeper sense of environmental responsibility and stewardship.

The experience transformed learning beyond the classroom, inspiring students to become more aware, responsible, and environmentally conscious citizens.
