This college is situated at Mundamarai under Dharakote Block in Ganjam District.

This is the first college of the Block and the only Science College o
f the Block imparting higher secondary education to most of the rural students belonging to socially backward communities, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. It was established by Sri Kishore Chandra Sahu, a man from Rourkela in the fond memory of his elder brother Late Somanath Sahu during the session 1993-94. He donated ever

ything including infrastructure- a spacious building in more than 6 acres land, books for library and monetary assistance towards the pledged money, salary of the staff etc. This college has obtained permanent recognition from Department of Higher Education, the Govt. of Odisha and permanent affiliation from the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha to +2 education in Arts and Science. Recently this college has received 40 % Block Grant from the Govt. of Odisha. Being an aided college. It is governed by rules and regulation of the Govt. of Odisha,The Deptt. Of Higher Education,the Finance Department and the Directorate of Higher Education,Bhubaneswar etc. This college has one unit NSS, Youth Red Cross and Rovers' Wing(Scout).
