With the arrival of the beautiful spring season, our school celebrated Spring Fest on 13 March 2026 with great enthusiasm. The school campus bloomed with joy, happiness, and vibrant colours as students from Nursery to Class II participated in the event along with their loving mothers and grandmothers.

The little students filled the atmosphere with cheer as they sang melodiously and danced with great excitement. Everyone was mesmerised by their delightful performances. The celebration became even more lively when the mothers presented graceful dance performances to cheerful spring songs, leaving the audience truly spellbound.

The warm and graceful presence of the grandmothers made the occasion even more special. As a token of love and respect, the children presented small gifts to their grandmothers, expressing their affection and gratitude.

The fest concluded with a joyful culmination dance by the teachers and mothers. This beautiful celebration showcased the talent and confidence of our young learners while strengthening the bond between the school and parents. The programme ended with smiles, happiness, and a wonderful spirit of togetherness. Here are some moments from the celebration.

Admission 2026

The tiny tots of DAV Model School, KSTP, Asansol celebrated Pre-Independence Day with great enthusiasm through creative and vibrant class activities. Nursery children beautifully coloured the Indian flag, LKG engaged in finger printing, UKG crafted tricolour birds, Class I designed beautiful Independence day cards, and Class II prepared and decorated salad with tri-colour vegetables.
The activities blended creativity with patriotism, fostering national pride and leaving cherished memories in the hearts of the young learners.

THE BOND OF LOVE,
THE PROMISE OF PROTECTION.

The thread of rakhi symbolizes a promise of protection,love and care. It is not only limited upto siblings rather among friends and fellowmates too.

The students of classes I and II of DAV Model School KSTP Asansol were involved in Rakhi Making Activity on 8th August,2025 ( Friday) to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with their friends.They made simple ,small, cute rakhis for their friends in the class and enjoyed a lot. They tied those rakhis to the wrist of their friends and enjoyed the moment. They also made promise to take care of each other.Here are some glimpses of the activities.

This quote perfectly captures the spirit of the Summer Camp held by EEDP wing of DAV Model School, KSTP, Asansol from 13th to 16th May 2025. It offered a joyful, engaging, and hands-on learning opportunities for students of LKG to Class II. Each day of the camp was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and meaningful interactions. The children participated in all the events like music, rain dance , art and craft with immense energy and excitement. They were guided by their teachers in a friendly and safe environment. The camp was a wonderful blend of learning and fun which left the students with beautiful memories and catered as a great start to their summer vacation.

And just like that, we opened new doors and welcomed our toddlers with open arms during Nabin Baran. We also paid tribute to the great poet of India, Rabindranath Tagore, on the occasion of Rabindra Jayanti. Our students expressed their gratitude to Rabi Thakur through singing, dancing, recitation, and more. Here are some glimpses of the programme where they thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Elocution competitions emphasise the importance of effective recitation with skill and eloquent skill presentation techniques. Students learn to use body language, gestures, facial expressions, and vocal variety to enhance their message delivery. These skills are very useful in all situations of life, such as presentations in school, college, or professional settings.

In this regard, DAV Model School, KSTP Asansol organised an Elocution Competition for our blooming buds of Classes I and II on 17.02.2024 for honing the skills of the students.

A COMMUNITY LUNCH was held in the field of DAV MODEL SCHOOL , KSTP , ASANSOL on 10 January(Friday) where the students of Nursery to Class Il had participated joyously. Children enjoyed the music and the community lunch with their friends. In the process they also learnt to appreciate food and not to waste it. This activity enabled the students to develop the values of sharing and caring. It also developed a sense of equality and togetherness.

Christmas is a time of merriment and celebration. A joyous festival which inspires sharing and caring. Christmas celebration was held in the school field which was decorated beautifully to welcome the toddlers.The toddlers and kids were dressed in red and white and filled the environment with sweet, rhythmic,melodious carols and songs. Their enthusiastic dances added aroma to the the event. The entry of the Santa Claus at the end marked a tone of happiness on the face of the children. The children were amazed to see Santa among them.They danced cheerfully to the tune of Jingle Bell with him.The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children.
