On 11th April 2025, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Pvt. ITI, Asansol had the distinct honor of hosting a delegation of senior officials from IISCO and Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). The visit marked a significant occasion for the institute, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in technical education and skill development. The esteemed delegation included: Shri M.R. Gupta, Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials), SAIL, Shri Surajit Mishra, Executive Director (Projects), SAIL-ISP, Shri Arup Mukherjee, Executive Director (TRA), Shri Jitendra Kumar, CGM (HR) & Officiating ED (HR), Shri Vijendra Veer, CGM (TS & CSR), The dignitaries were warmly received and felicitated by Swami Somatmananda ji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol and Swami Bhaktimayananda Ji Maharaj.

Sail Khel 2025

Date: 7th March 2025

The day began on a vibrant note with a short marathon from Polo Ground to Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol. A total of 150 students from various institutions across the Asansol subdivision participated in the event. The flag-off ceremony was held at Polo Ground in the esteemed presence of dignitaries from SAIL-ISP Burnpur, led by Sri Umerendra Pal Singh (ED/PA), Sri Jitendra Kumar (CGM-HR), Sri Vijendra Veer( CGM- TS& CSR) and Sri Amarnath Chatterjee (Chairman, Asansol Municipal Corporation). Also gracing the occasion were Swami Somatmananda, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, along with other monks and respected associates of the Ashrama.

The official inauguration of Sail Khel 2025 was marked by the honorable Sri Umerendra Pal Singh (ED/PA).

This grand event was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol, and sponsored by SAIL-ISP, Burnpur, as part of its CSR initiative.

The participants ranged in age from 6 to 70 years, cheered on by enthusiastic spectators and passersby along the route.

Later in the day, an athletic competition was held at the Ramakrishna Mission Ground, with participation from eight different technical institutes across the Asansol subdivision.

The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the monks of Ramakrishna Mission presented awards to the winners of various events.

Join us for Sail Khel 2025, featuring track & field events, football, and cricket matches from 6th-13th March 2025. Key events on 7th March include 100m, 200m, relay races, long jump, discus throw, shot put, and a spoon & marble race. A 5.5 km short marathon will take place from Polo Ground to Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol. Don’t miss the action—participate or cheer for your favorites!

Admission Open for 2025

A workshop on "How to Face an Interview?" was conducted on 24th February 2025 by Ms. Moumita Chatterjee and Ms. Polly Debnath, HR Managers from Rudra Automobile. The session aimed to help participants overcome stress before interviews, prepare an effective CV, and understand the importance of body language.

The speakers provided valuable tips on handling nervousness, structuring a professional CV, and using eye contact, posture, and gestures to create a positive impression.

The workshop concluded with a live interview demonstration, giving participants hands-on experience and expert feedback. The session was highly interactive and insightful, helping attendees feel more confident and prepared for their future job interviews.
