The following two events are being organized under ROBOGEEKS.
1. BLAME THE GAME.
2. ROBO SOCCER.

ROBOT SPECIFICATIONS : The robot must have a maximum dimension of 30cm*30cm*30cm.

POWER SPECIFICATION : 230V a.c power supply will be provided. The potential difference across any two points of the robot mustn’t exceed 24V.

ROBOT CLASSES : Remote controlled or manual(wired) control.

IMPORTANT POINTS :-
1. No practice on the arena will be allowed.
2. Each team should contain maximum two members.
3. Team whose robots do not satisfy the constraints will be disqualified.
4. Organizers reserve the right to change the arena specifications and the rules of the event if required.
5. Decision of the organizers and judges will be final.

THE GAME :-

IMPORTANT POINTS :
1. The robot will have to reach upon an inclined platform & clamp a bucket placed there & return t the start position in the MINIMUM POSSIBLE TIME.
2. Borders will be lined with cap on either sides of the track & displacing of of each cap will be lead to penalty.
3. Each robot will have to traverse the entire path.

SCORING :
1. Total point is 1000 for clamping the bucket & returning to the start position.
2. Actual scoring = 1000-(10*time in second)-(20*number of cap displaced).

SOCCER :-

INTRODUCTION : Design a robot which can play soccer. The robot would compete against other 1-1 matches.

RULES :
1. Tournament would be fully knock-out.
2. Depending on the type of delinquency negative points may be given and penalty kick may be given to the opposition.

RULES FOR BALL CONTROL :
The robot cannot “HOLD” the ball.
(HINT: Holding a ball means taking a full control of the ball by removing all its degree of freedom. For example it means fixing the ball to the robot body, surrounding the ball using robot’s body to prevent access by others or holding the ball underneath it.)
The only exception to the rule is the use of a rotating drum that imparts dynamic back spin on the ball.(This is called “Dribber”).

ABOUT THE EVENT:-

It is a PAPER PRESENTATION event

No. of PARTICIPANT: 2

The participants will have to write a paper on the given topic.

The paper should be written in the same format as a Journal paper or

IEEE paper is written.

Page limit: 6 pages (A4 sized papers to be used strictly)

It may contain pictures, charts, graphs and any other pictorial

representation in support of the content

The papers should be submitted as proper print-outs (preferably

colored)

The duration that would be given to do any research work and write

the paper would be around 9 days.

The papers would be put up as posters as in an exhibition on the day

of INFOQUEST’ 2K12.
