Blue Carbon refers to organic carbon captured and stored by the ocean in vegetated coastal ecosystems such as mangrove forests, saltmarshes, or seagrass meadows.
“Blue” refers to the watery nature of this storage.
The vast majority of blue carbon is carbon dioxide that has dissolved directly into the ocean.

Civil Registration System
It is popularly known as the birth and death registration system. The registration of birth and death is done under the provisions of a central Act namely Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD) Act, 1969.
CRS falls under the Concurrent list of the Constitution of India at Sl. No. 30.
The Office of the Registrar General, India, (ORGI) obtains data on causes of death from the Chief Registrar of Births and Deaths of different States and Union Territories.

The RBI's Digital Payments Index has been constructed by the RBI to measure the extent of digitisation of payments across the country. It was first launched in January 2021. It has been constructed with March 2018 as the base period. The DPI index comprises five broad parameters that enable the measurement of deepening and pe*******on of digital payments in the country over different time periods.

Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Aravalli hills, just 20 kilometres from Jaipur, Rajasthan. The sanctuary is named after Nahargarh Fort, a historic fort built in the 18th century by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur.
Nahargarh Biological Park, a part of the Nahargarh sanctuary, is famous for the lion safaris.
