Freedom begins with the values we teach today.
Our little patriots celebrated the spirit of Independence Day with pride, joy and love for our nation.
Every smile, every salute and every little step reminds us that the future of India is bright.
Our little stars were engrossed in a cultural programme which included dance, drama, song, recitation, yoga and an instrumental retreat. We feel honoured to witness such a magnificent programme.

We thank everyone for their valuable support and cooperation. Your encouragement and involvement make every celebration more meaningful and memorable.

🎨🌈 CHITRAKALA UTSAV – Celebrating the Joy of Colours! 🌈🎨

Our school hosted Chitrakala Utsav, an age-appropriate Colouring / Sketching Competition for students, grouping them into different categories.

The young artists enthusiastically explored their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills through vibrant colours. Each little masterpiece reflected the children’s joyful spirit, confidence, and unique perspective. 🌸🦋🌈

The competition provided a wonderful platform for our students to express themselves freely while developing fine motor skills, concentration, creativity, and an appreciation for art.

A colourful celebration of talent, imagination, and the sheer joy of creating! 💖🎨

🌼💛 Yellow Day Celebration – Nursery and Lkg 💛🌼

Our little stars brightened the school with their cheerful smiles as we celebrated Yellow Day! Dressed in beautiful yellow outfits, the children participated fun filled activities(colouring yellow 🥭,fingerprint pineapple🍍,Dal pasting in Sunflower 🌻.The tiny tots brought yellow coloured food items.

The celebration filled the classrooms with happiness, positivity, and creativity, making learning joyful and memorable.

A big thank you to all the parents for their wonderful support in making this day so special!

🇮🇳 Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration 🇮🇳

With immense pride and patriotism, our students paid heartfelt tribute to the brave heroes of the Kargil War through a series of meaningful and age-appropriate activities.

🎨 Nursery & LKG: Coloured the National Flag with great enthusiasm.

🦚 UKG: Coloured our National Symbols, learning about India's rich heritage.

🪖 Class I: Created brave soldiers using popsicle sticks.

🇮🇳 Class II: Made beautiful National Flags with creativity and care.

🌟 Class III: Dressed up as National Heroes, honouring their courage and sacrifices.

🎖️ Class IV: Designed patriotic badges showcasing their love for the nation.

💌 Class V: Wrote heartfelt letters of gratitude to our soldiers, expressing respect and appreciation for their selfless service.

Through these engaging activities, our students learned the values of courage, sacrifice, gratitude, and patriotism while remembering the brave soldiers who safeguard our nation.

To commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, students of Classes III, IV, and V experienced a special animated documentary on the Kargil War. The screening offered a meaningful glimpse into the courage, determination, and sacrifices of our brave soldiers who defended the nation with unwavering spirit.

Our enthusiastic UKG little stars celebrated National Flag Day with a joyful Fingerprint Indian Flag Making Activity.

Using their tiny fingerprints, they beautifully created the Tiranga while learning about the importance of our National Flag and the values of unity, respect, and patriotism.

A creative activity that nurtured imagination, fine motor skills, and love for our nation.

Our UKG little stars stepped into the 👣shoes of our everyday heroes👩‍⚕️👩‍⚖️👩‍🍳 through a wonderful Role Play on Community Helpers.

Dressed as doctors, teachers, milkman, police officers, farmers, nurses, and many more, they confidently showcased the importance of each profession with enthusiasm and creativity.

This engaging activity helped children develop confidence, communication skills, empathy, and respect for the people who make our community a better place.

Our school organised a Certificate Distribution Ceremony to honour the talented participants of the 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕥𝕖 ℂ𝕦𝕞 ℕ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝕃𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 ℍ𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 ℍ𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕨𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕡𝕖𝕥𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 (2025-2026). Students who showcased excellence and dedication in beautiful handwriting were felicitated with certificates.

The event aimed to encourage neatness, creativity and effort among young writers. Principal, teachers and students applauded the winners for bringing laurels to the school.

Mass Drug Administration (MDA) Campaign

A Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaign was organized at our school DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL,DHADKA on 13th July 2026, adhering to the directives issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Paschim Bardhaman and the Health Officer, AMC. A team of trained health personnel administered deworming tablets to students under teacher's supervision.
The initiative bolstered immunity, enhanced nutrient absorption, mitigated parasitic infections, and curtailed anaemia. It fostered better concentration, reduced absenteeism, and promoted holistic well-being, ensuring a healthier and more productive student cohort.
