Topic-Wise Tips for IBPS RRB PO 2020:
Puzzles and Seating Arrangement:
According to the last year's exam analysis, the bulk of the questions in the Reasoning section will be asked from topics Puzzles and Seating Arrangement.
You can not avoid these topics so try to devote maximum time to these topics.
First understand the basic approach to solve various puzzles such as Scheduling, Floor based, tabulation and seating arrangement based questions.
Inequality:
It is asked in nearly all reasoning sections of various bank exams.
Inequality is seemingly the easiest topic of Reasoning section. So, Practice inequalities thoroughly. You can easily expect 5 questions from these topics.
Syllogism:
These questions should be practised based on new as well as the old pattern.
Nowadays, Only/Only a few types syllogisms are asked in the prelims of the IBPS RRB OS 1.
They generally have 2-3 statements followed by 2-3 conclusion, and you have to find out whether they are true or false.
Understand the Venn Diagram based approach to solve the syllogism questions. You can score very well once you get the gist.
Coding-Decoding:
You can expect 5 number of questions from this topic.
If practised well, you can easily score 4-5 marks in the exam.
Practice all the types of it like alphabet coding, letter coding, fictitious language-based, etc.
Blood Relations:
Learn and Understand the approach to solve these questions.
Study the basic rules to solve the questions like the signs/symbols used to denote male/female and the symbol notation used to the family tree.
Also, practice blood relations based puzzle questions as well.
Direction Sense:
This is also easy and scoring topics of the exam.
Understand how to solve questions of direction sense, and then practice enough to get a good speed and accuracy.
Alphanumeric Series/ Alphabet test:
Questions from Alphanumeric Series/ Alphabet test are frequently asked in RRB Exams.
These topics are easy to solve and takes less time.
Understand the ranks of alphabets, Learn the laws of finding positions.
