Little Hands. Big Learning. Lifelong Skills.

Why are Practical Life & Sensorial Learning so important in the Montessori environment?

Practical Life activities help children develop:
✨ Independence
✨ Concentration
✨ Fine motor skills
✨ Hand–eye coordination
✨ Confidence & responsibility

Sensorial activities encourage children to see, touch, listen, compare, explore and discover. Through these experiences, children strengthen their observation, logical thinking, problem-solving and early mathematical skills.

At GEEM Montessori Academy, children don’t just learn — they experience, explore and discover.

🔬 Learning How Our Digestive System Works! 🥪

Our little learners explored the fascinating journey of food through the digestive system!

Through hands-on experiment, the children discovered how food travels from the mouth to the stomach and through the intestines, and how our body breaks food down to absorb the nutrients it needs.

Learning science through experimentation, observation and hands-on experiences makes every discovery exciting! ✨

Dr.Maria Montessori Birthday Celebration

On the birthday of Dr. Maria Montessori, our little Montessorians paid a meaningful tribute to her by joyfully working with the Montessori materials she introduced to the world.

With every careful movement, curious exploration, and independent choice, our children brought her beautiful philosophy to life — learning by doing, discovering with joy, and growing with independence.

It was a wonderful way to honour the beautiful soul whose vision continues to inspire children to “Help me to do it myself.”

Happy Birthday, Dr. Maria Montessori! 💜
Your legacy lives on in every little hand that explores, learns, and grows.

Little Explorers Around Our School Neighbourhood 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

As part of our weekly theme, “Exploring the World Around Me,” our little explorers stepped outside the classroom for a joyful School Neighbourhood Walk! 🏫🌳

The children observed the temple, hospital, friends house, cross roads, shops and surroundings near our school. 👀✨

At GEEM, we believe that the world around us is also a classroom—where children learn through observation, exploration and real-life experiences. 💜
