To give a hands on experience related to the theme ‘Plants’, UKG students of Amirtham School were taken to a nearby plant nursery “Thaimadi“ on Thursday, 24/03/2022.

The objective of the activity was to reinforce the topic-plants and to inculcate the love for the environment and to relish the beauty of nature. The students were briefed that the garden has a collection of a range of plants labelled with their botanical names. Children observed and explored variety of shrubs, cactus, creepers, herbs palm, fruits, colourful flowers and eagerly interacted with the gardener. This field trip sensitized the students towards caring for the environment and the importance of planting more trees.💞🙏

International Women’s Day was celebrated today, March 8th, 2022 in our school , dedicating the day to all the strong women in the world. Mrs .Uma Maheshwari and Mrs. Usha Nandhini(Vice chairman Sirkali) graced the event with their presence as the Chief Guest.
Cooking competition was held for parents.
The winners and participants of the contest were honoured with gifts and rewards.

May the marvellous feminine energy and aura cover the world with its warmth and greatness. Happy Women’s Day!👍

Fun Time!!!! SAY YES TO FRUITS!!

The youngsters of PRE.K.G celebrated Fruits Day ❤️🍓🍒🍎🍉🍊🥭🍍🍌🍋🍈🍏🍐🥝🫒🫐🍇.

With an objective to create awareness among children about the importance of fruits in regular diet. Children, representing the fruits of their choice through dress/chart; They sang fruit rhymes with great zest and enthusiasm. The kids were enjoying the moments of joy and happiness with the company of their mates & teachers.

Greetings
1st grade and 2nd grade students of Amirtham nursery and primary school have participated in science fair project.Its best described as a basic demonstration of how the world of science works through research, observation and experimentation. Science fair projects were generally assigned to students by their school teachers, giving them a great opportunity to learn about science; outside of books and homework.
Parent and General visitors were happy interacting with students about the projects.
Each students progress was incredible and exquisite.
Thanks to teachers and parents for making this science fair project a grand success.❤️

Going to the library is like going to a knowledge hunt; Grade 2 students from Amirtham Nursery and primary school visited the library in Ariyalur. Students were welcomed by the Librarian and they explained about the rules and regulations followed in library.Students enjoyed their visit by garnering information about the books.👍👍👍
